I changed my genre from “Skateboarding” to “Music” . One reason why I decided to change my genre is because my knowledge on music is more developed than on skateboarding; also I am more interested on the topic of music than I am on the topic of skateboarding.

Genre Change

My visit to the NewsstandThe Billboard magazine caught my eye, it’s a music magazine magazine and I like knowing the charts and where the music stands against other types of music. It is the coolest looking magazine and was the biggest, which made me like it more than the rest. The table of contents was designed very nicely and easy to understand because it was white letters on a black background, so it easily popped out. It had articles on artists performances and new music. The magazine that had the best photography was the “Billboard” magazine, because it utilized a larger space than the rest of the smaller magazines. This magazine also has the best design because it tells a lot more facts than the other boring music magazines. The articles that caught my attention the most was the charts on the Christian albums and songs. The “Billboard” magazine had the best table of contents because it showed in detail everything that was in the magazine. The “Billboard” magazine had the best articles because I enjoy knowing what makes the charts and standings and I think it is the most interesting to me.

I learned that there are many magazines on the newsstand for music. Many of them are gossip on music stars. The “Billboard” magazine that captured my attention the most because it had all the rankings of the music and was very interesting. The “Billboard” magazine was bigger than the rest of them and that caught my attention from the rest of them. I like the “Billboard” magazine layout the most because it isn’t boring like the other table of contents and gets to the point. It includes the general article and has interesting pictures to go along with it.

Most Inspirational Magazine to Me

This magazine is inspirational to me because I am very interested in the charts of songs and albums. It is fun to know the facts and where the music stands into todays society.
