...Ive never witnessed a band having more fun onstage than Cheers Elephant... I dont think theres a group that performs with more cheerfully quirky flare than this one.

Our highlight of 2014 has to be supporting Eric Clapton on his UK tour. We also had an amazing summer on the road, playing loads of different places.

In a pop world dominated by weightless lyricsits so refreshing that Austins Alpha Rev has broken through with their deeply meaningful, heavy yet airy brand of pop rock with indie soul.

In 2014, we released our first EP together and started putting out music videos for the songs on the EP. We also made our first music royalty checks which was a pleasant surprise!

All the miles touring with the trio has been the highlight this year, but one night after playing a 4 hour gig to no one, I got a text letting me know the record had been nominated for a Grammy. I guess Ill remember that show after all.

2014 was a year of growth for us and we had some great opportunities to refine our live act. Obviously playing for a home town crowd at North Coast Music Festival was a definite highlight, as was getting the chance to open up for one of our biggest musical influences, CHICAGO (the band) back in May. We cant wait to see what cool opportunities 2015 will bring.

2014 was a real whirlwind. It was my first time ever self-releasing an album, so every single win felt so personal to me and the team. We exceeded our crowd funding goal; got a song on RADIO 1 in the UK, got features in all my favorite press, and toured to the east coast. But my number one highlight was shooting a music video that involved me fighting a swarm of tiny 5 year old ninjas (Love is a Battlefield ft. White Sea).

For me, 2014 was an especially big year as I got to release a brand new album titled Undefeated. Having recently moved to Nashville, this is the first batch of recordings Ive had that allowed my surroundings help shape my sound. Although the pop feel is still present of course.

2014 was an exciting year for Santa Clara. Two of his license friendly singles, Castaway and Melt Away charted at #36 on the Billboard Adult Top 40 chart. We hope to do great work with him in 2015.

In 2014, the U.S. Department of State handpicked Filligar to serve as cultural ambassadors representing the best of the U.S. arts community with the world, sending the band to Kuwait and Guyana. This fall at CMJ, Filligar was a headliner for the Outlaw Roadshow, the tastemaking travelling showcase produced by Adam Duritz of the Counting Crows and Ryan Spaulding. With a record to be released in spring 2015 and a tour produced by Communion Records on the books, Filligar has an electrifying year ahead.
