According to some databases, a stereo LP MSM/259 of the Theodorakis music was released August 1979 in Europe only, including the titles “Old Streets” (6'11") and “Under My Clothes” (2'46"). Some databases suggest this LP was derived from the score for Kostas. The two songs were part of a Cycle of Songs (1974) for voice and piano, also known as "Rues anciennes" and "Sous mes habits", premiered in Athens in 1976, and still available as sheet music from Theodorakis's publisher Schott. Another source suggests that this LP of Ballades was published by Minos in 1975 and that some tracks at least relate to Serpico. A melodic work of Mikis Theodorakis with 9 tender songs on the poetry of the Cretan poet Manolis Anagnostakis, interpreted by the young voices of Margarita Zorbala and Petros Pandis. The second track (Old streets) is based on the awarded music that Theodorakis composed for the Sidney Lumet's movie, "Serpico" in 1973. combines the bouzouki sounds (played by two virtuosi) with the flavor of cellos and classical guitars.

Composer Mikis Theodorakis has a far too extensive career to be detailed here.Even the movies he has scored constitute a lengthy list, beginning in 1952-53, andincluding such famous films as Zorba the Greek, State of Siege, Z and Serpico.
