Directors’ Word

The six sketches of Ives’ All in the Timing could hardly be more varied in subject matter, mood and characters, but all share his intricate, witty dialogue, surreal sense of humor and, of course, the over-arching theme of time. We hope you enjoy this colorful evening of theatrical possibilities!

Staging the collection provided a number of new challenges – most notably finding time for six times as many rehearsals as usual. We cannot thank the cast and crew enough for their dedication and efforts: despite occasional forays into Philadelphia, they kept us confident that this production was a ‘sure thing’.
