CCIC project

Complex Challenges, Innovative Cities

Partner details

1) Good example in the creation of private/public partnership: the philosophy behind this idea is by no means simply to find new financial support, but to re-establish old and traditional cultural ties between citizens and local firms as benefactors.2) Improvement of local traditions in urban governance: show some examples of cultural manufactures and traditional heritage of the city as example of linking territory-culture against global market effects..

Our interest in CCIC

CCIC project

Complex Challenges, Innovative Cities

Partner details

Our strengths in the thematic fields

1. Innovative financial instruments

Creation of a cultural-innovative-district :new innovative financial instruments using a micro level approach referred to the development of local SMEs;

2. Public procurement and innovation

Selection of the local SMEs and actors on the basis of their proposal, ideas, partnership and possibility to co finance the activities planned.

3. Publicly-owned enterprises and innovation

Creation of a ‘entrepreneurial mindset’. The city is still transforming a specific area of the centre with the coexistence of traditional, local festivals and local enterprises

4. Civil society inclusion in public innovation

Changing the city with a buttom-up approach; working on the democratic level of the population
