يم� ح� الر� م�ن� ح الر� الل�ه� م� ب�س

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

ه� ب�ر� ي�ج ال ر�ي ك�س �لـه�ي إنان�ك� و�ح� ك� ل�ط ف� ،إال�

My God, nothing will mend my fracture but Your

gentleness and loving care,


� إ�ال ي�غ ن�يه� ال ر�ي ق و�ف�و�إح سان�ك� ك� ،ع�ط ف�

free me of my poverty but Your affection and

beneficence,


� إال ا ك+ـن�ه� ي�س� ال و ع�ت�ي و�ر�،أ�مان�ك�

still my fright but Your security,


� إال ها ي�ع�ز2 ال ذ�ل�ت�ي و�ل طان�ك� ،س�

exalt my abasement but Your sovereignty,


� إال ي�ب�ل+ـغ�ن�يها ال ن�ي�ت�ي مأ� و�

ل�ك� ،ف�ضtake me to my hope but Your

bounty,


� إال د2ها ي�س� ال ل�ت�ي و�خ�ل�ك� remedy my lack but Your،ط�و

graciousness,


يها ض� ي�ق ال ت�ي و�حاج�ك� ،غ�ي ر�


accomplish my need other than You,

وى س� ه� ج� ر+ ي�ف� ال� ب�ي و�ك�رت�ك� م� ح ،ر�


relieve my distress other than Your mercy,

غ�ي ر� ه� ف� ي�ك ش� ال ي ر+ و�ض�ت�ك� أ ف� ،ر�

remove my injury other than Your clemency,


� إال د�ها ي�ب�ر+ ال و�غ�ل�ت�يل�ك� ،و�ص

cool my burning thirst but reaching You,


� إال يها ي�ط ف� ال ل�و ع�ت�ي و�،ل�قاؤ�ك�


quench my ardour but meeting You,

� إ�ال ي�ب�ل2ه� ال إل�ي ك� و ق�ي و�ش�ك� ه� و�ج إ�لى ،الن�ظ�ر�

damp my yearning but gazing upon Your face,


د�ن�و+ د�ون� ر2 ي�ق� ال رار�ي و�ق�ن ك� م� ،�ي

settle my settling place without closeness to You,


� إال د2ها ي�ر� ال� ت�ي ف� ل�ه و�ك� و ح� ،ر�

allay my worry but Your repose,


� إال يه� ف� ي�ش ال م�ي ق و�س�،ط�ب2ك�

cure my illness but Your medicine,


� إال ي�ز�يل�ه� ال و�غ�م+ـيب�ك� ر ،ق�

eliminate my grief but Your nearness,


� إال ئ�ه� ي�ب ر� ال ح�ي ر و�ج�ك� ح� ف ،ص�

heal my wound but Your forgiveness,


� إال ل�وه� ي�ج ال ل ب�ي ق� ي ن� ر� و�و�ك� ،ع�ف

remove the rust on my heart but Your pardon,


ال د ر�ي ص� واس� و�و�سك� ر� م

أ� إال� ه� .ي�ز�يح�banish the confusing thoughts

from my chest but Your command!


ل�ين� اآلم� م�ل�أ� ن ت�هى م� يا ،ف�

O Utmost Hope of the hopers!


ائ�ل�ين� الس� ؤ ل� س� غاي�ة� ،و�يا

O Ultimate Demand of the askers!


ط�ل�ب�ة� أ�ق صى يا و�،الط�ال�ب�ين�

O Furthest Request of the requesters!


ب�ين� اغ� الر� غ ب�ة� ر� أ�ع ل�ى يا ،و�

O Highest Desire of the desirers!


ين� ال�ح� الص� ل�ي� و� ،و�يا

O Patron of the righteous!


ين� ال خائ�ف� أ�مان� يا ،و�

O Security of the fearful!


ط�ر+ ال م�ض د�ع و�ة� يب� م�ج� و�يا،�ين�

O Responder to the supplication of the distressed!


ين� ع د�م� ال م� ر� ذ�خ يا ،و�

O Storehouse of the destitute!


ين� ال بائ�س� ك�ن ز� يا ،و�

O Treasure of the pitiful!


ت�غيث�ين� ال م�س غ�ياث� ،و�يا

O Help of the help-seekers!


راء� ق� ال ف� وائ�ج� ح� اض�ي� ق� و�يا

ال م�ساك�ين� ،و�

O Accomplisher of the needs of the poor and the

miserable!


ين� م� ك ر�األ� م� ك ر�

أ� يا ،و�

O Most Generous of the most generous!


ين� م� اح� الر� م� ح� رأ� يا ،و�

O Most Merciful of the merciful!


ؤال�ي و�س� ع�ي ض2 ت�خ� ،ل�ك�

To You is my humble subjection and request,


اب ت�هال�ي و� ع�ي ر2 ت�ض� إل�ي ك� ،و�

to You my pleading and imploring!


ح� و ر� م�ن ت�ن�يل�ن�ي أ�ن أ�ل�ك� سأ�

وان�ك� ،ر�ضI ask You to let me attain the

repose of Your good pleasure,


ت�نان�ك� ام ن�ع�م� ع�ل�ي� ت�د�يم� ،و�

and to make constant toward me the favours of Your

kindness!


م�ك� ك�ر� ب�باب� �ن�ا أ و�هاaواق�ف،

Here am I, standing before the gate of Your generosity,


aض ت�ع�ر+ م� ك� ب�ر+ حات� ل�ن�ف� ،و�

opening myself up to the breezes of Your goodness,


aم ع ت�ص� م� د�يد� الش� ب ل�ك� ب�ح� ،و�

holding fast to Your strong cord,


ث قى ال و� ت�ك� و� ب�ع�ر و�aـك ت�م�س+ .م�

clinging to Your firm handle!


ع�ب د�ك� م ح� ار �لـه�ي إ،الذ�ل�يل�

My God, have mercy upon Your lowly slave


ال ك�ل�يل� الل+ـسان� ذ�ا

of silent tongue


ل�يل� ال ق� ال ع�م�ل� ،و�

and few good works,


ل�ك� ب�ط�و ع�ل�ي ه� ن�ن ام و�ز�يل� ،ال ج�

Bestow Your favours upon him through Your plentiful

graciousness,


ظ�ل+ـك� ت�ح ت� ه� اك ن�ف و�الظ�ل�يل�

shelter him under Your plenteous shade!


يل� م� ج� يا ك�ر�يم� ،يا

O Generous, O Beautiful,


ين� م� اح� الر� م� ح� رأ� .يا

O Most Merciful of the merciful!
