MUSICAL INTELLIGENCE Washed Away by Katherine Foreman
Nothing's changed except me and the facts. And the sadness I didn't mean to start. But it feels different now you've said It's wrong, and I still can't see your point. And I think as water runs over my hands that That's really all there is or can be. The gold is wearing off the infamous ring And something wears away from around my heart.
Mathematical INTELLIGENCE Help the farmer to move the wolf, sheep and cabbage to the opposite shore using the boat. You need to take them across the river to the market, but you only have room in your boat to take one at a time. It is very important to note that the unguarded wolf will eat the sheep and the unguarded sheep will eat the cabbage, when the man isn’t around. How can the farmer get all three as well as himself safely across the river? Can you solve this tricky puzzle? Good luck!
Mathematical INTELLIGENCE
SOLUTION: 1. take the sheep across 2. go back 3. take the wolf across 4. take the sheep back with you 5. take the cabbage across 6. go back 7. take the sheep across
linguistic INTELLIGENCE
A man stabbed a Jewish student in the ankle in a Brooklyn synagogue. Police arrived at the scene and confronted the 49-year-old African American. He was in the synagogue. He waved the knife around and threatened others. The police told him to put the knife down, but he would not do so. A policeman shot him dead. People moved the 22 year-old student to hospital and he should be fine. Difficult words: stab (to attack somebody with a knife), confront (when you try to deal with something directly), threaten (to tell somebody you will hurt him).
PROS AND CONS
PROS CONS
All students will be seen as successful
More time is needed for lessons
All different talents will be appreciated
Assessing student’s learning could be complex
Will be promoted a variety of instructional practices
Uniting a staff would be difficult
Lessons will be planned with more thought

• Everybody has a special talent.
• Difficult to measure.
• Promote all types of
intelligences.
