What is “Multigenre”?
• Multi = many
• Genre = Types of Writing– Story, article, poem, obituary, birth certificate,
textbook section, diary, email messages…– Business letter, memo, interview, recipe,
advertisement, comic strip, map, script, etc.
• Multigenre = Presenting information about a topic in different forms of writing.
