RemindersThe day of your First appointment, please do not

nap.

If you are having a second night Home Sleep Test, please do not nap that day.

Avoid all Caffeine and Alcohol.

Take your prescribed medications, unless otherwise instructed by your physician.

Complete the appropriate portion of the Home Sleep Test Diary.

How to use the equipmentManual, DVD and on You Tube

If you get up for anything during the night, press the button on the outside of the recorder.

Don’t remove anything. Just wear it all with you.

When you get back into bed, press the button again.

Then, return to sleep!

Open the recorder.

Look at the CIRCLE in upper Right corner of the screen.

If the circle is filled in solid your study is complete.

Hold the button down for 2-3 seconds.

This will turn the recorder off.

When you wake in the morning

Remove the recorder and all the sensors from your body.

Place the equipment into the large plastic bag.

Put it all back in the case.

Please do not throw anything away.

Complete the next part of the Home Sleep Test Diary.

Come to your scheduled appointment to return your equipment.

If the circle is NOT completely filled in

you will need to do a Second Night Home Sleep Test.

Turn the recorder off by holding the button down for 2-3 seconds.

Remove the recorder and all the sensors from your body.

Neatly arrange the equipment so you can put it back on for your second night test.

Complete the Home Sleep Test Diary.

Call the After Hours phone number given to you.

A Technician will call you back with instructions.

If you had a Second Night Test,

when you wake in the morning ~

Turn the recorder off by holding the button down for 2-3 seconds.

Remove the recorder and all the sensors from your body.

Place the equipment into the large plastic bag.

Put it all back in the case.

Please do not throw anything away.

Complete the Home Sleep Test Diary.

Come to your scheduled appointment to return your equipment.
