Cycle Shelters

Our comprehensive range of shelters available including our great looking ‘Timbclad’ shelters

Timbclad Shelters FSC timber clad shelters available to suit any number of cycles and for when you need to accommodate a large number of bikes. These can be used in combination with Semi Vertical Racks and Sheffield bike stands. They can be supplied with or without gates.

Supplied with or without hinged or sliding gates

Timbclad shelters offer an aesthetically pleasing cycle storage option and the cladding can be stained or painted as required.

Some standard sizes that we supply are provided below 12 Bike - 4600mm wide x 2100mm deep x 2100mm high – add 100mm for slab size 10 Bike - 4100mm wide x 2100mm deep x 2100mm high – add 100mm for slab size 8 Bike - 3100mm wide x 2100mm deep x 2100mm high – add 100mm for slab size 6 Bike - 2000mm wide x 2100mm deep x 2100mm high – add 100mm for slab size


Our gated shelters are supplied with Sold Secure Hasp and Staple or a Coded Digital Lock. Our Timbclad Shelters are supplied with a corrugated galvanised or polycarbonate sheet roof. They can be supplied with a live roof option for various planting options eg grass, flowerings plants or shrubs.

Please send us your requirements and drawings and we can provide full sizing details for the shelters and confirmation of required slab size.

Galvanised Cycle Shelters

Our popular steel shelters provide practical solutions and can be supplied in a number of style and size options. We have shown below a few options, but we can supply numerus other styles. These can also be supplied polyester powder coated in a number of RAL colours. Our most popular shelters are the Classic and the Chelsea below.

Classic Shelter

Chelsea Shelter Typical shelter sizes are to suit between 6 and 12 bikes. However, they can be supplied to suit any number of bikes. Our shelters can be supplied with our Two Tier Racks, Semi Vertical Racks or Sheffield Bike Stands.


We are also able to supply our galvanised steel shelters with gates cladded in either polycarbonate or mesh. These are supplied with Sold Secure Hasp and Staple or a Coded Digital Lock.

Two Tier High Density Cycle Rack

Sitemaster supply many of the largest housebuilders and contractors with cycle stores and our two-tier racks provide the most cost effective and practical solution for housing a large number of bikes. Our system is simple to install and offers safe and secure storage. Supplied with additional locking hoop for extra security and to meet the Secure by Design guidelines. Can be used internally or externally. Secure by Design Homes 2019 Version 2 53.4 Research by the ‘Design against Crime Centre’ suggests that cyclists should be encouraged to lock both wheels and the crossbar to a stand rather than just the crossbar and therefore a design of cycle stand that enables this method of locking to be used is recommended. We will design your cycle racks to your exact needs and can provide installation if required.

For specification purposes, these are typical sizes. For clarification purposes, a 4 bike will be configured with 2 bikes on the upper level and 2 bikes on the lower level.

All supplied depth at 2592mm and height at 1965mm

We recommend that two tier racks are used with a minimum ceiling height of

2526mm. This ensures that bikes stored on the upper level can be stored away

safely and easily.

Semi Vertical Cycle Racks

Ideal high-density cycle storage solution for use in apartments, cycle shelters and compounds. Supplied with additional locking hoop for extra security and to meet the Secure by Design guidelines. Cycle Stores

‘Protect a Cycle’ Metal Cycle Store – Secure by Design We have available the ‘Protect a Cycle’ bike store and this is ideal for use for single dwellings and it has full Secure by Design accreditation. These cycle stores are supplied complete with two stainless steel hasps and two padlocks (Sold Secure Gold Approved). Inside, is a Heavy-Duty Ground Anchor (Sold Secure Approved) complete with High Security Cable (LPCB tested). Precision manufactured from PVC-coated galvanised steel, maintenance free and fire resistant. All fixings supplied are stainless steel. Available in a range of sizes in green, cream or anthracite.

‘Asgard’ Metal Cycle Store We offer the Asgard ‘Access’ cycle store and this offers an all metal bike store for 4 bikes and is a generously proportioned bike storage solution. This is so much more than just a simple bike shed. The Asgard Access is an all metal storage shed provides peace of mind for all your bike security and storage needs. Built from thick, heavy gauge, galvanized (weather proof) steel panels with a strong integral metal floor, a large reinforced, easy lift (gas lift) lid and reinforced, double door front access, this is an ideal secure home for your most valuable road and mountain bikes. Vertical Cycle Lockers are also available.


Cycle Cages

We offer a full range of galvanised cycle cages for single bikes for either horizontal or vertical storage. Our mesh cycle lockers an extremely robust and secure cycle locker. The combination of mesh and fully welded angle iron ensures the mesh cycle locker offers a high level of cycle parking security. The door is internally hinged to further increase the security and the provision for the user to use their own padlock further enhances the security of the mesh cycle locker. The mesh cycle locker is also available with an optional galvanised sheet steel roof panel to provide the bicycle with protection from the weather and a cycle holder to provide support for the bicycle.

Vertical Wall Mounted Cycle Hangers These hangers can be used for any number of bikes and provide an ideal solution for storing bikes in a confined storage area. Supplied with rails to allow the bikes to be vertically staggered to avoid handles bars and pedals clashing. Simple to install and cost effective.


Sheffield Cycle Stands

We can supply a full range of Galvanised and Stainless-Steel Sheffield Bike Stands for both concreting in and ground fixing. These are available as standard 715mm wide x 800mm high. We do also supply a Slimline option that is 400mm wide x 800 high.

Sheffield Bike Stands are also available in a Toast- rack format in a number of configurations namely 2,3,4,5 and 6 hoop.

These bike stands can be used in conjunction with our range of bike shelters and compounds or individually where required. One Sheffield Bike Stand is suitable for 2 bikes.

We can supply the Shield Anchors for ground fixing if required. Each Sheffield Bike Stand requires 6 fixings.

Cycle Security Ground and Wall Anchors We have a number of ground anchors available that meet Sold Secure specification. These are for use in cycle’s shelters, compounds and sheds that are available for concreting in or for ground fixing.

Taurus Bull Ring Ground Anchor Compact folding anchor. Fully case-hardened to RC60 specification. Laser cut 28mm x 12.5mm hardened shackle. 80mm x 80mm aperture, ideal for large chains up to 19mm.

A 5mm hardened steel anchor for sheds or garages. 40mm in height. Complete with two security fixings, steel ball

inserts and allen key.


Shed Shackle Secure by Design Anchor Sitemaster have available the Shed Shackle to provide a fully approved and certificated cycle security anchor for sheds

• The Shed Shackle is the only Police approved Secure by Design shed anchor on the market – also Sold Secure approved.

• Secure bikes in a shed without need to fix anchors to the concrete shed base. The use of a conventional paved shed base is therefore possible.

• Fixes directly to the frame of the shed maximising resistance to attack as well as strengthening the shed side.

• Easy to install and supplied with all fixings.

• The use of the Shed Shackle ensures the floor of the shed is kept clear and maximises storage.
