MTOTW Session 20. & 21. November Sevilla Spain After the people at Doublewake released their short movie “MTOTW” about Wakeboarding and Wakeskating in Sevilla, they are now presenting the MTOTW Session which will be held at the 20. & 21. November 2010 at the Doublewake Camp & and Cable park in Sevilla. Some of the best Wakeboarders and Wakeskaters of Europe are going to session the boat and the cable park in the south of Spain. While most of Europe it’s already covered by snow at this time, Sevilla has decent water and air temperatures to ride year around. Saturday the 20. November the Wakeboarders are going to compete in a format that is completely different to normal wakeboard competitions. The MTOTW Photo Session is a new contest format where a wakeboarder and a photographer need to team up and the goal is to shoot the best picture of the day. Each rider has 2 sets behind the fully loaded Mastercraft X-Star. The photographer will be on the Jet Ski or in a chase boat. At the end of the day the riders themselves are going to vote for the best pictures. Six times European Champion, Cyril Cornaro is more excited than ever, "This format of competition has been done in Snowboarding since many years and I am really looking forward to see the results of this event. To take a good wakeboard picture, there are a lot of things involved. The photographer, the chase boat, etc. So you really need to work in a team with your photographer, and as well the style of the riders counts a lot for a good picture. You don’t want to do ugly competition tricks, you want to do tricks where you can express your style. On Saturday Night the best pictures are going to be awarded together with the winners of the RIDE4LIFE Snowboard Indoor Rail Contest, which will be held at the same day. After the awards the DJ’s are going to play good tunes all night long. On Sunday the best Wakeskaters of Spain including Tommy Espalda, Enric Dosta, Josep Dosta, Luis “Montana” Becqueriaux and Michel Martin are going to show their skills on the Doublewake Cable Park. The Rixen 2 Pole Cable is equipped with 5 Obstacles. The format of the competition will be best trick. It will be awarded the best tricks on rails, kickers and flatwater. Competition Mode Wakeboard Photo Session Saturday 20. November The MTOTW Photo Session is a new contest format where a wakeboarder and a photographer need to team up and the goal is to shoot the best picture of the day. There is going to be 10 invited riders from Spain and all over Europe. Every rider needs it’s own photographer. The Event is gone take place at Doublewake Camp in Gelves, Sevilla. Each rider has 2 sets of 5 minutes behind the fully loaded Mastercraft X-Star. The photographer will be on the jet ski or in a chase boat. The teams can choose when they want to do their sessions (morning or afternoon scheduled timeframes). Each Team can submit 1 photo for the voting. The voting will be done by the riders. All the submitted pictures are gone be shown and each rider can rate the pictures from the other teams but not the own picture. The best Picture will be awarded at the Party that same night at Sala Zeppelin, Herramientas 35, Sevilla Spain. Wakeskate Cable Competition Sunday 21. November The Event is going to take place at Doublewake Cable Park, Parque Allamillo, Sevilla. The Cable will be closed for the public at the day of the competition. Maximum 15 Wakeskaters. There is only one Division: Open Men. Every rider gets 3 runs on the Cable. One run means once up and down on the 2-pole cable. During about 1 hour, the cable is running and the riders have time to do their 3 runs. The format of the competition will be best trick. It will be awarded the best trick on rails, kicker and flatwater. The riding order goes from the start list. If you fall you r out of that run and swim back to the start dock for you r next run.
