The committee recommended that the church move forward with the purchase of blueprints and technical drawings at a cost of approx. $45,000; this was approved by unanimous consent! Please be much in prayer as we move closer to the realization of this vision. Fundraisers for Camp Hooty Whoo 2/8 - Paint It Up 3/14 - Concealed Carry Class Fliers are in the Vestibule for each of these fundraisers. Please see Erin Hoyle with any other questions. All proceeds will be used to help families, as needed, with diabetic supplies. Pastor Matt will be leaving Monday, February 3 rd to go to Myanmar. While there, Pastor Matt will be teaching on the formation and progress of the early church in a Bible College (15hrs) to students and missionaries from across the country. He will be preaching graduation commencement, as well as services at Bethel Baptist Church, before traveling north to Mandalay for a few days. Please pray for his traveling safety, good health, clarity of thought, and for God's Spirit to lead and direct his thoughts and actions. Saturday, March 28 th we will host a Spring Ladies Conference in Sanctuary. This is a free event for all ladies and will include lunch afterward in Fellowship Hall. No need to sign up, just bring a girlfriend and come out for fun, fellowship, music, Bible study and worship! Anyone that would like to decorate a theme table please let Susan Harris know as soon as possible at 828-289-0530. These theme tables are first come first serve with a limit of one table per person, to give everyone an opportunity to participate. Kelly Wilson will be hosting a Faith based exercise program Tuesday and Thursday evenings starting February 4 th . Classes will be held at 6:30pm for 30-45 min in the Senior Youth Room.
