The night at ClubCabana our hiring the cars for 2 days and driving down the roads of Goa or just lying sloshed around all over the place - this was one highly spirited holiday which will be remembered for years to come. 052.Mega Fellowship of the Month - Karting with MMRT42 Buddies (09.Nov.14)It was a Vroom day with a twist. MSRT123 & MSLC63 invited MMRT42 for its mega fellowship event for the month - Karting at Kart Attack. With over 25 heads participating, the event was a run away success. Kart attack on ECR was blocked for 1 hour for the ables & Circle and boy, did the big boys have some fun. Children had a fantastic time as they got to drive for 3 rounds each and they are pestering their parents to take them for karting again. The Tablers and Circlers had a serious challenge Race with Tr.Nitesh as usual making sure he laps every other car on track - thereby being the fastest that day. Tr.George too was in his elements as he managed to lap Chairman Tr.Akshay who was having trouble with his kart - or was it the effect of the breezers and the beer which were organized by the chairman & Cr.Shruti. Sandwiches & chocolates and refreshments were all arranged and this was one hell of a picnic.

053.Dinner Fellowship @ Tuscana, ECR (09.Nov.14)After a tiring and highly spirited Karting and racing, 123, 63 & 42 planned to binge thanks to the hunger pangs and the nearest spot was Tuscana, the new branch opposite Kart Attack. Tr.Alok, Tr.vivek and twinklers from MMRT42 joined us for dinner. We chatted endlessly, waited for our sinks endlessly and the same was with the food. But this gave us more time to chat and interact and know the 42ers better. Finally the food arrived and the quantity too was endless. Nevertheless we managed the food and went back with fond memories of the dinner and bonding.

054.B’Day Time @ CCD Square (11.Nov.14)A mid week fellowship and its best over coffee. Tr.Viral turned 41, and 123ers couldn't be more happy considering the fact that the MORE in his year of DO MORE was endless. A log coffee table, free flow of starters, non stop gossip, a birthday cake being smashed on the Birthday Boy, and to end it with a coffee. What a calm fellowship isn't it? A very quiet bunch @ 123.LOL

055.Happy B’Day Chetna (13.Nov.14)It was children's day and call it co-incidence or what ever, it was Cr.Chetnas Birthday on 14th November as well. 15 heads gathered at Dr.Kishor Reddys residence to celebrate her first birthday @ 123 & 63 after she tied the know to Tr.Bhushan. 056.Halloween Night (15.Nov.14)A Scary Night with vamps and vampires being bewitched by the spell of the shooters. A halloween Night was the theme of the night which was hosted by Tr.Gaurav & Cr.Niloufer and they left no stone unturned with their magnificent planning and execution. From the tattoo artist at the entrance whip made sure all Tablers, Circlers & Guests look scary as hell, to the decor which was a scary one, to the music which rocked the party and of course the unlimited shooters which went on till 4am the next morning. The shooters were flowing like some juice shots and each one was so high, thanks to the highly spirited hosts who made sure nobody take up the dinner plate till 2am. We celebrated Cr.Shwetas’ birthday as well post which Tr.Nitesh was given a HOLY bath with cake and alcohol. A fantastic theme where even the kids enjoyed and had lots of fun. It was a 123 class social and thanks to Tr.Gaurav & Cr.Niloufer for the fantastic arrangements.

The pasta, the drinks (non alcoholic for a change as Hard Rock Chennai does not serve alcohol), the ambience were perfect for a super lunch fellowship with friends.

005.Whose WINE is it anyway? (19.Nov.14)This was one of the finest, and classy LAPD session we have had in a long time. Thanks to Area LAPD convener Tr.Radha who co-ordinated this event. Mr.Praveen Krishnamurthyused to work in the wineries in Australia and later became a banker in India when he was back to his hometown. Gaining extensive knowledge on HNO investments got him understand and learn more about Wine & Whisky investments. He then decided to merge his passion & work and started apprenticing under Berry Bros, UK's finest wine merchant and understanding more about Wine as an asset class of investment. He launched Indias first wine investment advisory service and today conducts wine tasting sessions in India. He spoke about the history of wine, how the wine grapes are grown and how the Indian wine story started. We got to know a lot more about the vineyards around Bengaluru & Nashik and got understand why the value of wine grows over a period of time. He also showed how one should read a bottle, the brand, the year of casking etc. Finally it was time to taste wine, the white first, served chilled and then the red. He explained about the viscosity and what that implied. Next was the smell and finally the taste. It was interesting to know that the plant may grow to around 4 feet, but the roots are around 100+ feet. The taste of each wine is different and its only if you know the history of the wine you are drinking, you will enjoy the wine to the fullest. Overall a fantastic session on wine and a lot of wine consumed of course. The bill said it all;-)

005.Mabbula Hangover by MCRT162 (02.Nov.14)Thanks to the innovative event by MCRT162 - Mabbula Hangover @ GRT High Time, we discovered some hidden talent in the table and circle. Cr.Indu won the beer drinking competition completing two big mugs of beer in 1 minute against Tr.Dushyant who realized how good a guzzler Cr.Indu is only after the competition. Cr.Indu & Cr.Shruti were the only ladies team to participate and stood 3rd in the competition of making shooters & cocktails. They received a special recognition award from the judges. Tr.Nitesh & Tr.Bharat made sure they kill the judges with their explosive drinks. The kind judges passed on the drinks to the floor so that the tablets also could get to taste how well (or otherwise) their tablers mixed the drinks.

006.NFD on the Tracks - Area 2 Event (16.Nov.14)Tr.Akshay, Tr.Vikram & Tr.Kishore Reddy along with Tw.Jayesh attended the National Fellowship Day event organized by Area 2. A very interesting drag race on the race track saw the best of the cars around fight it out for the fastest one award. While the Aston Martin had no match, our very own Tr.Vikrams Mini was not far behind being the second fastest car in the drag race. Thanks to his amazing driving skills and the sheer pleasure of getting driven around in the mini coper, we missed the race track and crossed the toll and drove an extra 10kms, but it was worth a loooong drive in this super mini usually referred to as SWIFT my our VC. A good fun session on the tracks and some amazing food - a perfect sunday afternoon where all had a great time. All tables received a certificate of appreciation from Area Chairman Tr.Shriram Duvvuri.

007.Strike 39 Inter Table Bowling Championship (23.Nov.14)A fantastic event where all tablers, circlers and twinklers has a BALL of a time. While the children were busy at the gaming zone, tablets & circlers of 123/63 battled it out against the best of the players in Bowling in Area 2. With the prime form of Table 3, it looked no event for the other tables, but wait - its not yet over till the last lap. 123/63 with a decent team of managed to win the runners trophy for a second time in succession. Kudos to Thomas & Team for the amazing strategy. HC.Radhika stood runners in the Ladies individual category while the other team of Chairman AKD & co. enjoyed the game and some shopping.

023.Launch & Implementation of the Comprehensive Annual Health Card (22.Nov.14)MSRT123 & MSLC63 launched the Comprehensive Annual Health Card @ Hope Foundation Nursery & Primary School, Kannagi Nagar, OMR on 22nd November 2014. NVP. Tr.Suman Voora launched the card & A2 Chairman Tr.Shriram Duvvuri handed over the first card to the school captain. The Comprehensive Annual Health Card is a first of its kind Health Report Card for the students, similar to the School Report Card, which summarizes the health of the student by capturing details from the various medical camps held and the follow up treatment undertaken for each child. Children are often ignorant about their health and are unaware of a medical file which they need to maintain. This is quite understandable as they just cannot afford these medical camps & treatments. It is here where we have the opportunity to be facilitators and make sure the children live a healthy life.

The Comprehensive Annual Health Card is a Health report card which summarizes the complete detail of the student child who has undergone various medical camps like dental, eye care, nutrition, fitness etc. it is similar to a School REPORT CARD – while the School Report Card mentions how the child/student is academically, the Comprehensive Annual Health Card summarizes how healthy / fit a child/student is.

We often have standalone camps like dental, eye care, nutrition, fitness, general health check. These camps start and end here. Neither the child, not the school nor the sponsor are aware of the child/students history nor are reports recorded at a central point. So in a year if there are multiple dental camps held at the same location, which would obviously be a waste of resources and time, we still do not have any record about the child and what problem the child has. By maintaining this Comprehensive Annual Health Card, every child will have a record of the health check done and what is the corrective course by way of treatment.
