Essentially the same feature-rich design of the Highmark Pro, the Prime instead comes standard with the Snowpulse Removable Airbag System (RAS). The Prime is the ideal pack for those that want all of the features of the Pro, but prefer the lower profile shoulders of the RAS.

RIGHT-SIDE TRIGGER Your right hand is on the gas and during an avalanche, you're likely gassing it for all you're worth, so you DEkNITELY�WONfT�BE�ABLE�TO�PULL�a ripcord unless it's with your left hand on your right hand strap. All Highmark packs come standard with right-side triggers.

SHORTER fRAmES chances are, you're sitting on your sled for a good amount of time. Ski packs are designed for those standing up all the time, so a little bit of extra height doesn't make a difference. Not so for snowmobilers.

ExTERIOR SHOVEL BLADE cARRY This isn't going to come as a surprise to you, but there's a lot of shoveling in sledding (if you're doing it right). BOONDOCKER 2.0 BAR | This year CFR added a cutting edge bend and shape, as well as 1.5” of width and cut lines to the bar ends of the to the Boondocker handlebars . The added width provides an even more stable platform and allows more stock controls to be able to be attached to the handlebar directly. Brake lever placement is now better as well. The cutting lines on the bar ends allow users to customize the width of the snowmobile handlebar to their liking.

BRETT TURCOTTE BAR | The Brett Turcotte Signature bar is the handlebar of choice for Brett and his mind blowing snowmobile skills. From the snowcross track to the backcountry, Brett is the Jedi and this handlebar the sword! Brett chose the Boondocker 2.0 handlebar, picked the color and designed the graphics for his handlebar.

DAN TREADWAY HANDLEBAR 2.0 | Dan wanted more width for stability in big drops. The 1.5” of extra width is more stable without getting in the way while side hilling and boondocking in tight trees. The cut marks are there if the width feels too wide for a customized size to your liking. The added width also allows more space for stock controls to fit directly to handlebars and better brake lever positioning adjustment.

The CFR Dime Bag has Velcro strips that wrap around the CFR DD, i and Mountain racks tubular bars in four spots to keep the bag locked into place. The waterproof zipper on the outside will keep your contents dry. The inside waterproof pocket is perfect for your wallet and the key hook keeps your keys in the right place.

BUCK BAG | CFR"B03 | $84Using the CFR handlebar bag lets you empty your jacket and pant pockets keeping all of your go to stuff in one go to spot. With your jacket and pants pocket empty you can boondock your snowmobile through the trickiest terrain and side hill for miles.

9” of clearance is needed on XM snowmobiles between the top of the bag to the DESS switch. If clearance is not available the bag can knock the DESS switch out when turning sharply. Otherwise the Dess switch can be relocated if you still want to rock the buck bag if you don’t have clearance.

The BITEHARDER Professional Series Tools use the same ADVANTEDGE Technology as found in our STD Series Tool, but are designed to be used in a controlled shop environment.

Introduced in 2005, this is the original Powder Hound model. It features the same patented keel design as Slydog's trail ski, but has a much wider platform and intake scoop for improved floatation and side hilling capabilities. The 7" Powder Hound handles great on the trail and in the powder!

The Slydog Trail Ski continues to be one of the best performance upgrades available for a stock sled. The patented keel design and snow induction process improve the overall handling of any sled and minimize a sled’s tendency to dart or follow existing tracks. The Trail ski’s light weight and flexible design provide added suspension for a smoother and more controllable ride. Lighter steering, improved handling, and less darting-three perfect reasons to upgrade from stock to Slydog.

The 8" Powder Hound is the ultimate ski for deep snow! Its wide platform and newly designed intake scoop create extraordinary lift and flotation in deep powder. ProTube Running Boards are constructed from a larger outer tube which is extruded from a very high strength aluminum alloy. As a result, these running boards are approximately 22% lighter than the standard SPG Airframe running boards. This translates into up to 1lb of weight reduction per side totaling approximately 2 lbs total depending on the style of running board.

The larger outer tube provides a slightly different feel on the foot while riding as the cross tubes are integrated just below the top of the tube. This new design gives the rider a firm feel on the bottom of the boot letting the rider know exactly where the edge of the running board is at all times.

Includes high-traction plastic cleats (for cross tubes) and ice studs (for outer tube).

wHAT IS ARc (Adjustable Remote coupling)?ARc is an aftermarket add-on that allows a rider to switch on and off the interaction between their centre and rear suspension.

wHY ADjUSTABLE?Almost all sleds arrive from the factory with uncoupled suspension. However, sometimes backcountry riders need front and back suspension to work together in order to keep the front end of the machine under control (turning uphill from a sidehill), but almost immediately want the front end suspension to operate as its own entity when switching back to sidehilling.for instance, if you are in steep terrain, with uncouple suspension, you run the risk of going over backwards if you put a lot of pressure on your rear suspension together with a lot of power.Essentially, an uncoupled rear suspension will allow the front end to come up and a coupled suspension will make it stay down.

HOw OfTEN wOULD YOU GO BAck AND fORTH BETwEEN cOUPLED/UNcOUPLED? wILL USE wEAR ON THE SYSTEm?Skinz claims that a rider could turn on the ARc system 5-10 times during a single side-hill climb and doesn't notice any wear on the system from repeated use.

The Rigger Bib is the Stinger Pant with a ¾ height bib. It boasts all of the same great features as the Stinger, but with a bib that will convert any waist-paint wearer to a fan. Like the Stinger, it boasts the hybrid Sled tek V8 fabric, which houses a dual layer EPTFE membrane which provides extremely high breathable, waterproof, and windproof properties across a wide range of atmospheric conditions. This unique styling brought from the aviation industry provides not only a futuristic appearance, but more importantly performs even better in even the harshest winter conditions. The Aviator is engineered using a ‘rimless’ frame design. This sleek design minimizes the amount of goggle frame in your field of vision. By reducing the thickness of the frame, we are able to use a much larger spherical lens without increasing the overall footprint of the goggle. Brand new for 2016 is the release of our innovative Photochromatic, auto darkening lenses. When exposed to uV sunlight the 509 Photochromatic lenses automatically darken the tint to adjust for bright conditions. When you ride into an area with less sunlight, the lens automatically transitions to a clear or light tint. The 509 Transition lenses were designed using innovative technology that allows them to quickly darken or lighten based on ambient light conditions. No longer do you need to carry multiple lenses for multiple lighting conditions. The 509 Photochromatic lens is one lens for all conditions. The photochromatic technology is embedded on the inner pane of our dual lens allowing maximum reactivity in below freezing temperatures. Available in two options: Photochromatic – Clear to Dark BluePhotochromatic – Orange to Dark blue with Fire Mirror Finish The photochromatic clear to dark blue is a great lens for all conditions. In low light conditions the lens will appear clear and when the sun comes out it will quickly transition to dark blue. The photochromatic orange to dark blue starts out as an orange tint and transitions to dark blue. This lens features the added flair of a durable high contrast fire mirror finish.

My goggles are fogging...why?Goggle fog happens for one reason: moisture. To eliminate fogging you first need to identify the location of the fog: inside the lens, in between the two lens panes, or on the outside of the lens. Next, identify where the moisture is originating from. If you are fogging on the inside of the lens, you are most likely not getting a good seal against your face. It’s vitally important the goggle is FULLY seated FIRMLY against your face, with no gaps to allow snow or moisture inside. If the goggle isn’t sealing against your face, try tightening your goggle strap and repositioning the goggle. If it still doesn’t seal, it may be a fit issue with your helmet or head shape. Make sure your helmet isn’t holding the goggle off your face. If the goggle doesn’t fit your head shape, you may need to switch models. Aviators, for example, have much more frame curvature than Sinister goggles. So for those with XL and XXL helmets, Aviators may be too narrow. Sinisters however, have a more universal fit for most people. To eliminate inside lens fogging, ensure a good fit to block out moisture. If you are still having fog issues, you may be overheating and pouring excessive sweat into the goggle. Try dressing in layers to ensure you are not excessively sweating.

If the fog is appearing in between the two lens panes, this is a sign of a lens gasket failure and may be covered under warranty. Please call 1-888-987-SLED for warranty service.

Outer lens fogging is common when stopped. Try controlling your breathing. Direct your breath downward to allow it to escape your helmet without reaching the lens. Outer lens fog quickly dissipates once you are in motion.

The following ‘best use’ tips will cut down on fogging as well...

All these tips have the same goal in mind: prevent moisture from entering inside the goggle. No moisture = no fog.

Which is tint is best for certain weather conditions?There are three basic 509 lens tint options: Polarized, mirrored, and non-mirrored. Polarized lenses are available in four tints: Smoke (darkest), bronze (medium), green (medium lightest), yellow (lightest). Smoke is best for bright, sunny condi tions. Bronze and yellow in particular, are great for both sunny and low light days. Polarization is great for reducing sun glare on bright days and also enhances visibility of terrain on low light days. Mirrored lenses are best for sunny days as well. The extra mirror coating layer darkens the lens a bit, making it better suited for bright days. Non-mirrored lenses - also known as tinted (yellow, orange, blue, etc) - are best for low light days. For night riding, we always recommend clear lenses to allow for maximum light transmission.

What is the di$erence between the Sinister and the new Sinister X5?The Sinister X5 is a vast improvement over the original Sinister. First off, the X5 is 0.5” taller and has an upward-sloping Phantom frame to provide maximum vision. The frame sides are also squared instead of rounded to better seal inside our 509 helmets. Fixed position outriggers are also new for the X5, which moves the strap mount point further forward, providing a better seal with even pressure. The Sinister X5 also comes with our new dual polycarbonate lens with improved permanent anti-fog & anti-scratch coating.

How is the Aviator di$erent from the Sinister or X5?The Aviator features a rimless frame design. This minimalistic frame is hidden behind the lens and provides excellent field of vision. In addition, the rimless design provides no collection points for snow. Any time snow hits the goggle it simply slides off the side and provides consistently clear vision. The Aviator also features an extremely simple lens change system for fast on-the-mountain lens changes.

Can I wear prescription glasses with 509 goggles?509 goggles accept many of today’s prescription eyeglass frames, shapes, and sizes. However, the Sinister snow series seem to accommodate the most variations and provide the best fit. We also have another option -Rx Goggles. Rx Goggles provides prescription lens inserts for the Sinister series goggles. Each lens is custom made to fit properly in that goggle. They can be reached on the web at www.888rxgoggles.com or at 1-888-794-6445. Prescription lens inserts are designed specifically for 509 goggles and are designed to always remain inside the goggle frame for easy goggle removal without the hassle of traditional eyeglasses.

How do I clean a 509 lens?The 509 soft storage pouch is made of premium choice material to clean and polish your lens. First, rinse the lens with water to remove all large debris being careful not to scratch the lens. Then shake the excess water from the lens and blot dry and polish with the 509 soft pouch. The pouch may be hand cleaned and allowed to dry if it becomes soiled. Never use a cleaning agent as it can remove the fog and scratch free coatings and/or ruin the clarity of the lens.

How do I know if my helmet %ts right?A properly sized helmet should be comfortably snug to your head. The top and side pads should fit snug around your head and cheeks. With the helmet chin strap properly secured, gently shake your head and the helmet should move with your head. You should not be able to easily reposition the helmet on your head with your hands and you should feel slight pulling on your skin if you try to reposition it. Keep in mind a new helmet should be tighter than your old helmet because it is not broke in yet.

If I take an impact on my helmet, can I keep using it?Absolutely not! Helmets feature EPS foam that smashes during impact to absorb impact force. So although the exterior shell of your helmet may appear to be okay, the interior EPS foam may be smashed from the impact and provide no future protection. Helmets are designed to take a significant impact only once and then be disposed of (not resold). If you take a significant impact, you must dispose of your helmet and purchase a new one to ensure the absolute best protection.

LENS REMOVAL1/ Remove the nosemask first. Pull the center of the nosemask down to release the center barbed nosemask mount from the goggle frame. Next, release the left & right nosemask mounts.2/ Grab the nose area of the frame with one hand and the top center of the frame with the other. Apply firm opposite pulling force until the lens releases.3/ Continue releasing each of the lens mounts until free.

LENS INSTALL1/ Starting on the left or right side, align the lens into the frame groove. Next, fully align the entire lens into the frame groove.2/ Once fully in place, begin snapping each lens mount into the frame groove. When fully in place, no part of the lens cutout will be visible. 3/ Once the lens is fully installed, re-install the nosemask by first attaching the left & right mounts, followed by the center tab.Watch the lens install video: http://goo.gl/shgjq

ORIGINAL SINISTER/

LENS REMOVAL1/ Grab the lens firmly with one hand. With your other hand, grab directly behind one of the top lens buttons on the inside of the goggle.2/ While holding the lens firmly in place, apply FIRM pulling pressure on the inside of the goggle frame, directly behind the top lens button. The lens button will release from the notch in lens, but the button ALWAYS remains installed in the frame and shouldn’t remove from the frame.3/ Continue releasing each of the 6 lens buttons from the lens, until the lens is fully removed.

LENS INSTALL1/ Align your new lens so the lens buttons align with the cutouts on the lens. Snap either the far left or right lens button into the lens first. While holding the lens in one hand and the goggle frame in your other, apply firm pressure until the first button fully snaps into place on the lens.2/ Repeat step 1 in clockwise order, until all 6 lens buttons are fully snapped into the lens.3/ On the nose area, apply direct upward pressure to snap the two center nose mounts in place.Watch the lens install video: http://goo.gl/shgjq

Apply slight oppo site pulling force while pressing the lens & frame together to snap into place if needed.3/ With the lens fully in the frame groove and the top snapped into place, snap the 3 nose area mounts into place last. With the lens facing away from you, grab the goggle with both hands: thumbs over the top, pointer fingers in the nose area. Apply FIRM squeezing pressure while giving the frame a slight twist until all 3 lens cutouts snap in place and are no longer visible.
