NUMBERING whereby:
the first page is page 2
the format is page/totalpages
when the first page is not available,
example separate cover page?

Total pages
Cover page does not have to be separated. It should ideally be in the same document, but separated only by a SECTION BREAK. This tutorial assumes that the cover page is
separated from the rest of the document.
STEP 1 – FORMAT 1st
PAGE AS PAGE 2
Choose Menu:
• Insert
• Page Number
• Format Page Numbers
• Select Start At:
• Change to 2
• Click OK
STEP 2 – INSERT THE CODE
• Double-click anywhere at footer or header
• Insert this code
• {} must not be typed. The symbol must be inserted by pressing keys
CTRL and F9 together
• The rest of the code can be typed
• Movement to left or right can be done using arrow or mouse
• Position appropriately (left, right or centre)
• Once done, save your document. Print view the outcome.
