Distance Learning that Eliminates the DistanceAs a busy professional, your time is precious. The GWSB:DC MSPM online platform lets you work around your schedule through the use of video lectures, online dialogue and discussion with your faculty and peers, research projects, and more.

The MSPM degree may be completed entirely online, or you can create a course of study that combines both distance and on-campus learning. Our online and on-campus courses share the same professors, lectures, projects and assignments, and university resources.

The distance mode includes:COURSE CAPTURE: Campus lectures are recorded through advanced course capture technology and made available within three hours to all students via Black-board or iTunesU. Students can conveniently watch course lectures on their own time.

VIRTUAL CLASSROOMS: Professors hold an optional but highly recommended live virtual class session each week, where students have the opportunity to interact with peers and professors.

BLACKBOARD: Tests, assignments, and communications are managed virtually through Blackboard for campus and distance courses.

CAMPUS VISITS: All students attend a mandatory orientation on campus at the beginning of the program, where they have a chance to meet their new peers. Students who complete the Capstone course in the distance mode return to campus for a residency at the end of the program.

Whether you’re managing a $10,000 project or a billion dollar program, it means coordinating, communicating, scheduling, and maintaining focus.

You need to have the unique ability to do both: get into the nuts and bolts as well as step back to take a macro view.

The Master of Science in Project Management program at the George Washington University School of Business blends the study of advanced project management techniques with general management principles.

The innovative, ethics-infused curriculum balances real-world practice and academic theory, developing the skills managers need to integrate complex projects, motivate people, and achieve cost-effective results.

Learn on campus in Washington, D.C., or wherever it’s convenient for you. We recognized early on that most MSPM students are in the workforce and often unable to attend classes at our Washington, D.C., campus. We offer courses in the evenings to help students who live and work nearby. But for more than 15 years we’ve also been bringing the MSPM program to students through our distance learning option. This means you can pursue this degree from virtually any location in the country or around the world. You can also do it on a full or part-time basis.
