Mr.Zhang’s classroom rules

Assignments:

-all assignments must represent your own abilities and your own effort.-students are responsible for asking and make up all the work missed due to an absence.-students requesting help after school or at lunch are asked to notify the teacher in advance.

Rules for classroom behaviours:Students must know and follow all rules in the student handbook in addition to the classroom rules mandated by the teacher.-come to class on time with all necessary materials.-be in your assigned seat and prepared to work when the final bell rings.-follow directions of the teacher -raise your hand and wait to be called before speaking-respect the rights and property of the classroom and others.-be courteous to your teacher and your classmates.-washroom and drinking fountain visits are to be kept to minimum as they cause delays and disruptions-no arguing in class. Concerns and/or appeals must be discussed with teacher privately before/after class or submitted to teacher in writing after class.-abstain from eating, chewing and grooming in the classroom.At the end of the period, remain in your seat until you are dismissed-do not write on the classroom desks. This behaviour will result in an immediate detention.-clean up after yourself.-Stay quiet in the classroom at all times.

Electronic Device policy:

All electronic devices are to be turned off and kept out of sight while students are in the classroom. If the teacher sees them, they will be confiscated.If you are working independently, you can listen to music. (If the volume is not bothering anyone else!)You can use your phone as a dictionary. (other educational ways)Eating!You can eat after you finished your work. (As long as you are not bothering anyone else)If you are done your work,

Policy for severe behaviour:

Severely disruptive behaviour such as repeated disruptions, fighting, cursing, physical assault, or verbal abuse towards the teacher will result in immediate referral to the administration.
