I am so excited to be your child’s teacher this year!
•Bachelors in Elementary Education, Special Education from Boise State University•This will be my 8th year teaching but my first here at Clark Elementary•Live in Issaquah with my husband Chris and two children Megan (5) and Logan (22 Mo). I am originally from Minnesota •My goal is to get to know each of my students and their individual needs•I enjoy going to sporting events with my family, music, and crafts/scrapbooking

Schedule
•Universal pin numbers are given and will be used all throughout their time in ISD•Practice pin at home.•Students choose their lunch every morning on the ActivBoard. •Lunch time is short so encourage your child to focus on eating the entire time.•Help them to learn to open all items in their lunch on their own.• Peanut free snacks please
Lunch Reminders
•Students wait outside in line on the playground for the bell to ring.•Children must go through the office if tardy.•Call or email the attendance line if your child is sick.•Kindergarten students will be escorted to their correct bus line or to after school care•If you are picking your child up from school please meet us under the covered area by the front entrance.•We encourage you not to pick your child up from school before dismissal, but if it is necessary, you must sign them out in the office first and they will call our room for them•Please let me know well in advance if there will be a dismissal change. Call the office if it is last minute.

• Routines are important and school routines take a while to develop
• Read to your child: Book Bags starting in October
• Be sure to check in with your child each day. *Check their folder every day
(sometimes it will be empty)• Snack time: 5 Minutes MTRF, brought

Behavior Management
