Mechanical Engineer in Training

Reporting to the Mechanical Engineer, the incumbent will assist in the successful completion of projects, operation and maintenance of the mechanical equipment at the Springs Mill, including all aspects of the paper machine and maintenance planning. The incumbent will work with other professionals on many mechanical efficiency and optimisation projects.

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS:• Uphold and improve plant safety standards• Maintain and improve plant maintenance systems• Foster good working relationships between operational departments• Gain an understanding of installed plant processes• Get involved in various projects• Optimise plant systems and processes

QUALIFICATION/SKILLS REQUIRED:• A completed BSc/BEng Mechanical Engineering or equivalent degree by the end of 2018.• Computer literate in MS Office.
