Introduction:In recent times people witness change in the pattern of buying and consumption, firstly from raw to individually cook and latterly to Ready-to-cook food; emergence of it at the Global Food Industry and now to the Pakistan markets. The consumers are getting more aware about food products and so their intention and perception towards Ready-to-cook is changing over in Food Retail Industry. All over the world the lifestyle of people is changing. The life has become more complicated and men and women, husbands and wives are forced to work in order to earn a living. People want to save their time and require easy/ ready-to-cook food items that can be prepared in 10 to 15 minutes by elders or by young ones as well. People want easily accessible food items that are hygienic and can be prepared in a quick time period. The world is moving faster these days, people having less time for their health to take care of. The need was obvious to get knowledge and information about the needs and requirements of people in Karachi. The food they like and what are the reasons for choosing ready-to-cook food items.Objectives: Trends of purchase intention of consumers for ready-to-cook food items. The importance and significance of ready-to-cook food in Karachi perspective. Acceptance of customers for any new product that is launched in Karachi.

External Environment:Macro:Political ConditionPolitical trends can impact any level of society, whether individuals, families or organizations. Trends in policies set by government agencies and leaders can affect the legal framework within which small businesses operate the market conditions that affect consumer behavior and the amount of assistance offered to businesses by the government.Economic ConditionDifferent political parties or individuals enact different policies to guide national and local economies to prosperity, based on their own economic ideologies. This means that political trends can have an impact on taxes levied on businesses and individuals. Economic policies can also influence interest rates throughout the economy, including rates for small business loans.
