AIMSweb being the Universal Screener, for our purposes AIMSweb is only necessary for:
Students new to the district
Students who were flagged after BOY testing
Other students that you have concerns about
Tejas LEETejas LEEBranching Rules – All the tasks within a section
go from easy to hard, so if a student is NI on an easier task, the branching rule is designed to avoid frustrating the student, so it skips the more difficult tasks.
*After the BOY administration, Entry Point Rules take effect. If the student was Developed on a task, it does not need to be re-administered. Since the assessment is the same at all 3 time points (except for Tejas LEE Dictado), the student has 3 opportunities to be Developed on a task. This excludes the stories. All students will attempt all stories at each administration.
