State Takes Acon Against Illegal Movers A commission administrative law judge ordered five moving companies to cease providing residential moving companies until they obtain the required permit. Affordable Haulers & Movers, owned by Charles Barlett of Lacey was issued a $5,000 penalty with $4,000 suspended on the condition a permit is obtained before conducting residential moves. Alice the Mover, owned by Heidi Bergman of Stanwood was issued $5,000 penalty after failing to get a permit by October 2015 as required. Budget Family Moving, owned by Dexter Petrie and Dexter Wendler of Tacoma was issued a $5,000 penalty with $4,500 suspended on the condition they do not operate a residential moving company without a permit. Martin Movers, owned by Edward Martin of Parkland was issued $5,000 penalty with $4,500 suspended on the condition he obtain a permit before operating a residential moving company. Safe-To-Go-Movers, owned by James Mwangi of Puyallup. Issued a $5,000 penalty with $4,500 suspended on the condition he obtain a permit before conducting residential moves. The company received a permit in October 2015.
