PULL SPREADERS AND MOUNTED TENDERSS-150•S-500•S-600•S-800 | TENDERS 1600•16•24
For almost 50 years, Willmar® has set the benchmark for dry fertilizer spreaders and tenders. With recommended maintenance
and care from an authorized Willmar dealer, these ruggedly built spreaders and tenders will provide years of reliable service.
From the sales process to full-service product support, your Willmar dealer is committed to delivering an ownership experience that
matches the professional-level performance of your new equipment. Best-in-class performance and best-in-class support . . . it’s
what you expect from Willmar products and the knowledgeable, industry-savvy people who stand behind them.
.
BIG PERFORMANCE. BIGGER SUPPORT.
The corrosive effect of fertilizers can be substantial and very costly. Every Willmar pull-type spreader features corrosion-
resistant phenolic flooring to facilitate material flow without buildup from under the conveyor chain. Both the conveyor and
ground-drive chains are made with stainless steel, frames are structural channel steel with reinforcements, and the hopper and
skid are constructed of 12-gauge stainless steel. A chemical-resistant, epoxy based, rust-inhibiting primer and super tough,
acrylic, urethane finish combine to protect and extend the life of the spreader.
Although Willmar spreaders can’t control the volatility of fertilizer prices, they can help improve your margins by delivering
fertilizer more accurately and efficiently. They’ve long been acknowledged for their durability, ease of operation and agility —
just some of the reasons Willmar is the spreader of choice for many in the industry.
LINED AND SEALED TO DELIVER.
NIMBLE AND QUICK.S-150
SMALL AND PRECISE. The S-150 has a heaped
capacity of 53.6 cubic feet (1.51 m3). It features dual
spinners that deliver material in a 100% overlap pyramid
type pattern that reduces spread pattern variations due to
wind and rough terrain.
ORCHARD FRIENDLY. With the addition
of the optional orchard deflector, total
spread is 15 to 25 feet (4.5–7.6 m), and is
designed to place the bulk of the material at
the center of orchard rows.
With up to twelve wheel track options, the mid-size, 5-ton (4536 kg) S-500 is versatile enough to adapt to nearly any situation. You can add to the
versatility of the S-500 by choosing from one of two different PTO drives or by adding an optional 8-hp (5.9 kW) engine for driving the spinner
system.
SMOOTH OPERATION. A multi-leaf, spring suspension system
positioned on both sides of each axle to reduces bounce and
improves stability. Optional 2- or 4-wheel, hydraulic surge brakes
provide additional braking capability during transport for added
safety.
CONSTANT, EVEN FLOW. Control application rates from 524 to
1,045 pounds (238–475 kg) of material per acre with the two-speed
conveyor. Simply move the hand lever to align with the
corresponding gate opening number to meter material flow. The
stainless steel gate moves freely without binding or freezing up. A
front- to rear-adjustable baffle plate allows you to determine flow to
accommodate variations in material density, weight and size.
CUSTOMIZABLE. The S-500 is available in single- or dual-
spinner configurations. Choose from the single-spinner configuration
delivers a 65-foot (19.8 m) total spread pattern, dual 40-foot (12.2 m)
spinners with an 80-foot (24.4 m) total spread or dual 50-foot (15.2
m) spinners with a 100-foot (30.5 m) total spread. The dual spinner
options create a pyramid-style spread pattern that provides 100%
overlap.
ADDED SAFETY. Lighting and reflective devices that meet ASAE
S279 lighting and marking requirements for on-road travel are
standard on the S-500.

NO JOB IS TOO BIG.Durable, productive, accurate and dependable — the S-600 and S-800 are all that and more. These spreaders have the capacity you need
for big jobs, and allow you to spend more time in the field and less time loading.
CONVEY IT BETTER. A mechanically simple chain and gear
conveyor system is directly driven by the spreader’s ground speed
through chains and pulleys. A slip clutch prevents damage to the
components if the conveyor belt unintentionally stops and conveyor
shields guide the slackened chain over the cross members to
prevent metal-to-metal contact. The two-speed conveyor allows you
to control application rates in low or high ranges, from 311 to 1,033
pounds (141–469 kg) of material per acre.
DRIVEN FOR SUCCESS. The S-600 and S-800 spreaders
come standard with a 540 PTO. For even more versatility, a dual
drive 540/1000 PTO is available as an option. Both can be
configured with either a single- or dual-spinner and produce the
same spread patterns as our other equipment for precision
application.
THE PERFECT SETUP. Setup is quick and easy. Hitch the
spreader up to your tractor, connect the PTO and set the gate
height. The S-600 hopper boasts an incredible 192 cubic feet (5.46
m3) struck capacity; 210 cubic feet (5.95 m3) heaped. Its big
brother, the S-800, holds 244 cubic feet (6.90 m3) struck and 264
cubic feet (7.47 m3) heaped.
SEE AND BE SEEN. For added safety, these larger units are
equipped with lighting and reflective devices that meet the ASAE
S279 lighting and marking requirements for agricultural machinery
operating on the road. For added convenience, a window at the
front of the S-800 spreader gives you a clear visual on the
remaining product.

If you’ve got a lot of material to move, using the right tender can make all the difference for your bottom line. Willmar’s 16- (14,545 kg) and 24-ton
(21,818 kg) side-shooting tenders can be either truck or trailer mounted* and can move up to two tons of material a minute. Contributing to that
efficiency are four- or six-compartment hoppers that can carry a variety of materials; steep, 40-degree, sloped sides for quick material dispensing;
large-diameter, 10-inch (25.4 cm) augers and big hydraulic capacity.
LOADS OF CAPACITY. The 16-ton (14,545 kg) version holds an
incredible 516 cubic feet (14.6 m3) struck and 570 cubic feet (16.1
m3) heaped while the 24-ton (21,818 kg) weighs in with a struck
capacity of 774 cubic feet (21.9 m3) and 885 cubic feet (24.2 m3)
heaped. Two stainless steel, gate control handles facilitate easy
individual hopper unloading, and a wide-mouthed bottom dump gate
accommodates pit unloading.
LOADS OF FEATURES. Located on the front left catwalk, there
are separate controls for on/off horizontal and side discharge, fold/
unfold and raise/lower auger control. The one-piece, adjustable,
swing- away auger engages with a spring-loaded back to eliminate
spillage. The hydraulic drive with PTO-powered pump has a large 25-
gallon (94.6 L) hydraulic oil reservoir so you’ll always have power
when you need it.
*46,000-pound (20,909 kg) gross volume weight (GVW) truck or trailerrequirement, depending on model.
HIGH CAPACITY, EFFICIENT LOADINGSIDE-SHOOTER 16/24 TENDERS
SERIOUS MATERIAL HANDLING.Willmar’s truck-mounted* rear discharge tenders are ideal for commercial fertilizer dealers, custom applicators and large farming operations.
With two large-capacity hoppers that feed into one auger, these tenders can carry nearly any single, dry-material product and load any
applicator or planter at up to two tons per minute.
A STEP ABOVE. Rear-mounted ladders provide accessibility to
the hoppers to improve the sightline of the fill and flow status.
Cleanout is quick and thorough with 30º (1600 model) fast-flow,
stainless steel sides.
THE BEST POUND-FOR-POUND. Discharge rates range from
2,400 (5,280 kg) pounds of urea per minute to 4,000 pounds (8,800
kg) of potash per minute. The standard auger is 10 inches (25.4
cm) in diameter by 19 feet long (5.8 m) with a discharge height to
108.25 inches (275 cm). A 21-foot-long (6.4 m) auger with 117-inch
(297.2 cm) discharge height is also available.
LOADED WITH FEATURES. Auger on/off controls and raise/
lower controls are located on the left rear corner of the tender. The
self-contained hydraulic system is PTO-driven and has a 10-gallon
(37.85 L) reservoir.
