Parents and Carers,
Congratulations to the students in the SRC team for
2020 (photo below). We were fortunate enough to
have Mr Fielding arrive just in time to help give out
the badges at the assembly last week.
We look forward to seeing how these
students take on the leadership
opportunity they have been given.
Miss Gaunder is very pleased to have her team (photo above) to assist her in the library. Students
can ask these monitors for help at any time. Congratulations to them, too.

appreciate some of you are having a hard time trying to work out what to do with your children.
There is no right or wrong at this stage. Every family must make their choices. We are here to
provide care and education to students who are healthy and come to school.
The adjustments we have made and will continue to update, are all meeting the needs for a safe
public environment. I appreciate your support and sensible approach to managing this situation.
The workshops have been very successful
so far. Hannah, the presenter, was telling
me what a great group of parents are
attending. Thank you to those who made a
committment and are participating in the
weekly sessions. One to go!
Due to the popularity of the course,
Hannah, has agreed to run another course
later in the year.
The last session is this Thursday. For those attending, please be assured we will take every
precaution to make the space a safe environment. Please call on 9790 4650 if you will NOT be
attending. Thank you.
A few of my favourite photos from ice
cream day last week. I’m so pleased the
committee had this treat day because it
made students so happy.
It’s good to remember that the simple
things in life are best!
School Photos on the Wednesday 25 March. Please find the
envelope from the company in your child’s bag. Take care not to lose it as it is
made for your child. Money needs to be exact as they don’t give change on the
day. Best idea is to pay online. The envelope comes back to school, sealed. Family
photos are available. Please ask the office for the special envelope. (Yr2
envelopes to come later this week).
PLEASE NOTE-School Photos are going ahead with care.
This week sees the decking going on between the sandstone blocks and hopefully, weather
permitting, the concreting of the new path on the weekend. The plants have been ordered and
they will fill the spaces that need stabilising and add significant appeal to the landscape. I can’t
wait to see the students start using this beautiful space.
Positive Behaviour for Learning (PBL) is our school program that aims to help in creating
safe, effective teaching and learning environments. For more information on PBL go to

PBL NEWS & THIS WEEK’S SCHOOL VALUE
In every Newsletter, the table below will have the names of the children receiving PBL awards.
If you see your child’s name in the table, you will know that they will be presented with that
award at the following Monday’s assembly. We take a photo of the group and it will be published in
the Newletter the following week. Parents/Carers are welcome to the assembly.
The next P&C meeting is on Friday 01/05/20 at 9:30am in the library. (Please note the time.
This is to accommodate the ANZAC service that will be first up). Of course all these events
depend on the latest information and advice we get colser to the dates.
The first P&C meeting went very well. It was good to have the new committee there plus a few
new parents. Hope to see lots more of you attending next term.
Last mini canteen was an ice cream day. What a popular event! I think the photos speak for
themselves…so many happy faces and full tummys. Thanks!
