HIGH PERFORMANCECapacity Max has a fast, responsive user experience, with robust performance under load and rapid, smooth roaming across sites. Security is a high priority, with options for authentication, access control and encryption. And to ensure optimum operation, Capacity Max incorporates sophisticated fault management and call monitoring tools.

HIGH CAPACITY,COVERAGE AND CONTROL

EFFICIENTThe system is built around a standardized IP network: there is no requirement for specialized interconnections. Signaling and traffic flow has been optimized to make the most efficient use of network bandwidth. The Capacity Max System Server (CMSS) centralizes control and management functions, as well as hosting voice applications gateways.

SCALABLECapacity Max is scalable to 250 sites, with up to 15 voice and data repeaters and up to 6 additional data-only repeaters per site, giving high-quality connectivity to up to 3,000 users at each location. The system uses standardized infrastructure, so you can migrate to Capacity Max from a MOTOTRBO IP Site Connect, Capacity Plus or Connect Plus system and reuse your earlier investment.

The next generation of trunking has arrived. MOTOTRBO Capacity Max blends real-world experience with technological innovation to deliver a communications solution that’s tailor-made for your organization.

CENTRALIZEDCapacity Max is built around the Capacity Max System Server (CMSS). This centralized appliance hosts the Trunking Controller, Voice and Radio Command (VRC) gateway, System Advisor management application and CMSS Maintenance application (ESU: Enhanced Software Update). All of these are software applications run as virtual machines, and do not require individual pieces of dedicated hardware. The central system database is programmed through the Radio Management application, simplifying configuration. System Advisor centralizes status information, forwarding it via a northbound interface if required.

SECURECapacity Max is a highly secure system. It offers traffic encryption and subscriber authentication, and Subscriber Access Control (SAC) to define the services available to each user. The CMSS itself is a locked-down appliance, only configurable via the Radio Management application. It is inaccessible to malicious software and intrusion.

RELIABLEThe CMSS platform is a mature, reliable, enterprise-grade server with millions of hours of service in the field. It is configured with dual power supplies and RAID disk arrays for additional resiliency. It ships with a multi-year warranty as standard. A second CMSS can be deployed for physical and geographical redundancy.

SCALABLEThe CMSS is highly scalable: even the largest multi-site Capacity Max system can be supported on a single server. For control room applications requiring voice connections, a CMSS can route up to 100 external talkpaths. Additional CMSS servers can be provisioned as necessary. Capacity Max is scalable to 250 sites, with up to 15 voice and data repeaters and up to 6 additional data-only repeaters per site, giving high-quality connectivity to 3,000 users at each location.
