Motivating Employees
You inspire Passion, Curiosity and joy
You build high performing teams
Our success as managers is highly dependant on our capability to motivate and engage our employees. This is extremely importantbecause our employees are the ones producing results. They contribute to make our strategies become reality. They are thoseimplementing the action plan, they simply are part of the business. To unfold these employees potential and capabilities we need to see them as individuals, having different needs and aspiration, driven by
different factors. Being aware of this is the key to motivate your employees.
Motivational drivers are individual and can be categorized in 8 main drivers (see next page). Usually a person has 3 main motivationaldrivers. These 3 drivers can be explored through formal and informal tools.
When working with your employees motivation, it is very important to: Ignore your own motivational drivers. They are not relevant. Remember that your employees are working in a team, but their motivational factors are highly individual.
Notice that motivational drivers are not static and must be explored continuously.
Please use the next pages as inspiration to become a manager that inspire Passion, Curiosity and Joy and last but not least builds highperforming teams.
