The TexwrapThe Texwrap DifferenceDifference
It's the extra value that's built into every product. It's the ultimate in ease-of-use, reliability and longevity. Every Texwrap shrink wrap system from our standard L-sealers, side sealers, and lap sealers to the highest speed servo orbital wrappers are designed and built to run for many years with the absolute lowest cost-in-operation of any shrink system on the market today. We back them better because we build them better.

Distance between packages is determined by the clearance needed to avoid the sweeping jawshitting the incoming package. The taller the package, the longer the bag. There is no way to shorten the bag as Texwrap can by slowing the exit conveyor slightly just as the seal is made. In addition, the rotary jaws make a “shearing” motion as they approach the film to seal it as opposedto a smooth vertical “pressing” motion as in a Texwrap system.

Conveyor starts while jaws are opening
Jaws begin to close before package clears
Jaws close
“Front bag trim” or “Open trim” prestarts the conveyor while the jaws are still opening. At 100% (no trim) package moves only when jaws have opened completely. At 30% trim, the conveyor starts when the jaws are 30% open.
“Rear bag trim” or “Closing trim” prestarts the jaws closing after the trailing edge of the package is detected by the photoeye. At 100%, jaws wait to begin closing until package is completely clear. At 30%, the jaws will be 30% closed when the end of the package is detected. Too much trim (approaching 0) will cause the jaws to clip the package as they open and close.

Seal head begins to return only whenthe jaws are open completely.
Seal head returns home
Front Trim- In a seal cycle with motion trims disabled, the cross seal carriage will only begin returning home when the jaws are open completely.
Rear Trim- In a seal cycle with motion trims disabled, the carriage begins to travel with the package and cross seal jaws begin to close only when “Rear bag distance” has finished.
When “Rear bag” finishes, seal head latches onto package, begins following and the jaws begin to close
Seal head closes and continues forward with the package making the seal.

Seal head begins to return whenjaws are open the “Front trim” %. Seal head returns home
Front Trim- uses a number between 0 to 100 to determine when the carriage should begin to return even though the jaws are not completely open. A number of 50 would mean that the seal bar would be 50% open when the carriage begins to return. When A “Front trim” number that is too low (closer to 0) would cause the jaws to clip the front of the package as the carriage began its return.
Rear Trim- as the seal head begins following the package forward, “Rear trim” uses a number between 0 and 100 to determine when the jaws begin to close. A number of 50 would mean that the jaws would be 50% closed when the “Rear bag” setting was reached.
Seal head latches onto package & begins following as jaws begin to close anticipating rear bag distance
Seal head closes and continues forward with the package making the seal.
