Mametja Moshe has over fourteen years finance experience in corporate finance, equities capital markets, debt capital
markets, black economic empowerment, accounting, auditing and corporate tax fields. She is the founder and CEO of
Moshe Capital.
Prior to Moshe Capital, Mametja worked at Identity Capital Partners (“ICP”), a South African investment group, as an
executive in finance and senior associate in the investments team. Mametja spent over four years in banking prior to ICP
at: Morgan Stanley from 2007 to 2010 covering South African, Zambian and Nigerian M&A and equity capital markets
and UBS South Africa (2006 to 2007) covering South African M&A. During this period in banking she led teams in the
execution of transaction worth over $4 Billion.
Before her investment-banking career, Mametja spent five years at KPMG Inc. serving her auditing articles in the
consumer products team and later joining the corporate tax team where she covered tax compliance, restructurings,
mergers and acquisitions and Black Economic Empowerment transactions.
Mametja sat on the boards of Identity Mineral Resources (Pty) Ltd and Altech Netstar (Pty) Ltd (alternate), Southgold
Exploration (Pty) Ltd, a subsidiary of the multinationally listed Great Basin Gold Limited and EuroDollar Foreign
Exchange (Pty) Ltd.
Mametja obtained her B. Com Hons (Accounting); and B. Com Hons (Management Accounting) degrees from the
University of Kwazulu Natal. She is a qualified chartered accountant and an MBA graduate in the Global Executive

Kay has worked in the financial services sector for over ten years at global multinationals, Deutsche Bank and Sasol Limited.
She began her career at Sasol as a Corporate Finance Specialist where she managed various mergers and acquisitions,
including modelling, administration of acquisition and disposal transactions, and liquidation of dormant companies. During
her time at Sasol she was also a part-time Financial Reporting and Accounting lecturer at the Vaal University of Technology,
in Secunda.
Subsequently, Kay joined Deutsche Bank in the Investment Banking Coverage and Advisory (“IBC&A”) team, where she
worked on numerous projects in the public, industrial, consumer, banking and mining sectors. Most notably Kay was a part
of the advisory team at Deutsche that advised the Central Bank of Nigeria on the landmark transaction involving the
restructure of the Nigerian banking system, which included the nationalisation and recapitalisation of struggling banks in
Nigeria.
Kay’s key competencies include strategic analysis of businesses, analysis and recommendation of appropriate transaction
structures, financial modelling and business valuations, assessment of the applicability of various laws and regulations to
transactions (such as Companies Act, JSE Listings Requirements, PFMA) and project management.
Kay holds a Bachelor of Business Science with Finance Honours from the University of Cape Town and is a qualified

Nuno Rodrigues

Nuno has eighteen years of solid international experience in multiple senior management roles in finance, commercial &
corporate development for global industry leaders in Natural Resources, Oil & Gas, Power & Management Consulting.
Prior to Moshe Capital, Nuno worked in Abu Dhabi for the Abu Dhabi National Energy Co “TAQA” as director of
corporate development for the MENA region (Middle-East North Africa) building a new portfolio of operating oil & gas
assets, leading deal teams in multiple acquisitions including a $650 Million transaction in the North of Iraq.
Before TAQA, Nuno worked at Rio Tinto, out of the corporate headquarters in London, covering the evaluation and
appraisal on behalf of the Investment Committee (CFO’s office) of multiple billion $ greenfield and brownfield
investments (in organic growth and M&A) across several commodities. Prior to Rio Tinto, Nuno worked at BHP Billiton
in The Hague and Singapore as a consultant for BHP’s Marketing & Trading group. Nuno started his career in Germany as
a management consultant working at KPMG Consulting in the treasury & corporate finance practice in Stuttgart &
Frankfurt.
Nuno is based in South Africa, where he has been advising in the last few years, several international private companies
(investment funds, family offices and SMEs) with interests in energy & mining in sub-Saharan Africa.
Nuno has an MBA from London Business School, a masters in international management by the Pforzheim
Fachhochschule in Stuttgart (Germany) and a University Degree in Finance & business administration from ISCTE in

Myles has gained extensive experience in the financial advisory, corporate finance, mergers and acquisitions, equity and
debt capital sectors of the South African banking industry. He has advised on structuring and financial impact of
acquisition / divestiture transactions, capital raising, as well as the legislative and regulatory implications from the
Companies Act, Takeover Regulations, JSE Listings Requirements and competition considerations, inter alia.
Myles has held various positions with HSBC, Commerzbank and Nedbank and gained experience both locally and
internationally. His sector expertise covers the Financial, Oil & Gas, Metals & Mining, Energy, Retail, Infrastructure, Media
& Telecoms and Industrial sectors. His international banking experience has provided him with deep cross-functional
experience across the breadth of banking operations and provided him with an understanding of business functions such

Pratik joined Moshe Capital in 2018 as an Analyst and has one year of experience in the financial services sector. He

Pratik holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration degree (Accounting & Finance and Marketing) from
Symbiosis International University.
Mike is holds a Master’s degree in Financial Management Sciences from the University of Pretoria. He also holds a
BCom Honours degree and a Bachelor of Business Science degree with a double major in Accounting and Economics,
from University of Pretoria and Monash University respectively.
He has extensive academic background in corporate finance, capital structure, cost management accounting, micro and

After school, military service and final exams as a banking apprenticeship in Germany, Günter emigrated to Canada
and worked for the Canadian Imperial BANK OF Commerce in Montreal. Thereafter moved to Zurich and joined
the Swiss Bank Corporation. Before he was engaged by Dresdner Bank AG in Cologne, Günter spent time at
Credit Commercial de France in Paris.
Gunter then moved to Dresdner Bank AG to London. He was the Bank’s representative and subsequently general
manager between 1968 and 1993. Günter chaired the Foreign Bank Banks and Securities Houses Association and
the German-British Chamber of Industry and Commerce BETWEEN 1974 AND 1992. From 1993 Günter was the
group representative and geographic head for South and Southern Africa until 2002.
After RETIRING Gunter became non-executive director of a number of companies including Ridge Mining Plc,
Allianz International Insurance Limited, Redefine Properties Limited, Astrapak Limited, mara SP Reid (also
chairperson), Leon Africa, Lusan Holdings, Tesuco Group of companies, Conduit Capital .
David Charter has an extensive track record of achievement in financial services over 20 years as a Director of SG
Warburg Securities, Managing Director at Deutsche Bank and then as an Independent Practitioner. He served as
the Head of Equity Syndicate at both Warburg and then Deutsche in London and was responsible for global equity
new issue operations. He worked on many of the largest and most innovative flotations and privatisations, for
companies as diverse as Eurotunnel, Repsol, Euro Disneyland, Deutsche Telekom, amazon.com, e trade and EADS.
At Deutsche he co-headed a technology venture capital principal investment team. As a result of the success of
this business he retired in 2000 to focus on private investment and philanthropic interests.
As a private practitioner since 2000, he has invested in over twenty companies and advised a broad range of
clients. He has extensive involvement in developing companies at board level either as Chairman or NED. His
current and past directorships include: VTB Bank Europe plc (previously the Moscow Narodny Bank), The Access
Bank (UK) Ltd, the wholly owned UK subsidiary of Access Bank of Nigeria, the security company Protection
Group International, the business networking organisation the D Group, cyber security company Glasswall
Solutions, legal services outsourcing company Riverview Law (since acquired by EY) and the court jewellers Cleave
and Co. His principal current business interests are in the finance and corporate security and business intelligence
sectors. Outside his professional activities, he is the co-founder of the Beacon Prize for Philanthropy and features
in Charles Handy’s ‘New Philanthropists’, and serves as a trustee on several charitable boards including the John
Smith Trust, which runs young leaders’ programmes for developing nations in the FSU, Middle East and elsewhere.

Mark has more than 35 years business experience: in the private sector when he owned and successfully sold
his business; with a publicly listed oil and gas company, where he ran the services division; and until 2010, as an
executive with the global multinational HSBC plc, his final position as Head of Africa at HSBC Insurance. He
now runs his own company again, Samphire & Associates Ltd, which provides advisory services, especially in
regard to Africa, where he has much experience; and is an associated consultant at corporate advisory firm,
Partner Capital Ltd.
In Africa, Mark’s principal clients since 2010 have included: German private equity firm, African Development
Corporation, which invested in banks and insurance companies in Africa; Phoenix Africa Development Co in
which he was personally an investor and non-executive director; and Leon Africa, a consumer finance and
credit bureau business in Zimbabwe, where Mark sat on the board, on the Remuneration Committee and
chaired the Audit & Risk Committee. He was a non-executive director of the Business Council for Africa in
the UK for many years; and since 2011 has had a mentor / mentee relationship with a black South African
woman farmer which originated as part of the Women-Led Business Programme run by Femmes Africa
Solidarité. Mark has sat on the advisory board of Moshe Capital since 2016.
Christopher has over 15 years’ experience in the energy sector, gained from across the globe. He spent four
years in Africa executing renewable energy projects, mainly in South Africa and Mozambique, He has
negotiated more than 100 contracts to support the origination, acquisition, and closure of US$10+ billion in
energy, natural resources, and transportation infrastructure assets throughout Asia, Africa, United States, Latin
America and Europe. As part of consulting teams, Chris managed strategic initiatives with senior level
leadership at international financial institutions, multi-laterals, Global Fortune 100 companies, and government
ministries to assess and mitigate risk for water, climate change, and natural resources.
Chris has led and participated in multi-national teams to execute economic and environmental analysis to
support strategic direction for energy infrastructure development. He is an adjunct professor at Nyack
College’s School of Business and Leadership and is involved in impact investment and CSR opportunities across
the continent.
