01.Oerslev monastery is built in1200 A.D.Today the monastery functions as a retreat for artists and writers. My study group spent three weeks registering and measuring the mo-nastic architecture and its physical condition. We did drawings with parallel ruler, that were later redrawn in Autocad. After the three weeks on site we made a building report and a pro-posal for an extension to the monastery.

02.Thesis (5.th year)Transformation of the Aarhus Engineering CollegeThe area in central Aarhus, has a unique position close to cultural and urban life. My project suggested the area could be used for tourist apartments that offer more homely surrondings than the typical hotels.

04.Humlebæk Competition ProjectI made the Site evaluations, Concept andVisualizations.Much focus has been made on housingvariations and typologies accommodating emergentcommunities or new densities.

07. Hill side house research. Triangular shaped. I am looking to make basicforms stand out from the landscape with a clear geometric shapes, taking into consideration new cliffside connections and foundational structures.

09.Design Against the Elements, Phillippines (2011) (1. prize)Dwellings for the victims of the periodic flooding in Manila. Theproject consist of 234 units secure from future flooding and usingnew innovative and green ideas.(Concept, 3d and visualizations)

10.Competition, Strømsø Norway (2010) (Prize Winner)In colaboration with a team of fellow architects I won a prize on the internationalStrømsø Competition. We suggested that the central area should be revitalized through a higherbuilding density and better urban organization. The vast parkingareas are transformed into parks and urban squares and newcultural functions are put into the area in a unifying “Cultural path”.(3d and visualizations)

11.Another Hillside house. In this example I wanted to make a house with a shapethat followed the terrain and had a strong examination of topographical changesand could be adopted for tropical climates or arid environments.

15

12. Set Design and ExhibitionsI love to express ideas visually in either hand sketches or in 3D drawings. I have through my own company done visualizations for different clients in Copenhagen.

13.House Extension (Copenhagen)Extension to a modern villa in the Northern part of Copenhagen.Adding new square meters to a modernistic house with a new kitchen and dining area. The project is now in procurement.

14. Kaka’ako - Transformation of an urban area in Honolulu.Centrally located Kaka’ako is going to change over the course of the next 15-20 years. There is already a masterplan for some of the area. It mainly includes tall residential buildings with car parking. I suggest a different approach to the area. I also focus on density, but by giving a more human scale to the buildings with green spaces and shared court yards. Another focus is the traffic issues, where I suggest more bicycle lanes rather than adding more cars to roads that are already congested roads.

18
