the adventures of a dominatrixWhat was the first Fetish magazine that you came across that made you want to become a model?

As far as inspirational magazines go - It was Marquis Magazine and Skin Two. They used to sell them in a shop called Forbidden Planet in London. I was totally hooked on all of the beautiful, dark imagery.

If not a magazine, what inspired you?

I was inspired by a few of the US models back in the day. It was 1999 and the internet was still very new

in the UK. I found pictures of Mistress Persephone online (we actually ended up becoming very good friends and still see each other to this day) Also Julie Strain among others. I was shooting with

a photographer called Mark Blackie, he also happened to be a web designer and my

first website went up in 2000

What has been the most interesting thing to happen during one of your photo shoots?

I don’t know if interesting is the right description, but I had a light exploding on me while I was shooting in Los Angeles. A piece of glass hit me right on the bridge of my nose, narrowly missing my eye! I also had cuts on my legs and stomach!

How did you get started in alt/Fetish modeling?

I was really into the alternative scene and would get asked to pose for pictures based on the look I had at that time; piercings, shaved sides, extreme MU & brightly coloured hair. I really enjoyed creating interesting pictures and it all went from there.

When did you first realize you were Dominant?

As a child I was pretty headstrong, everything had to be a particular way and I was always very inspired by strong female characters. I was dominant with my very first BF and along with my interest in the scene, it soon became apparent that I was a natural Domme.

How did you become a professional Dominant?

My first sessions took place in New York when I was 20 years old. I’d travelled over for a holiday and whilst shopping on St Marks place

I was asked if I wanted to shoot for the cover of a tattoo magazine. After the shoot the photographer mentioned that one of the big dungeons

was open to travelling Mistresses, so I threw myself into it and haven’t looked back.

Back in London I was modelling for various designers at Torture Garden,The Skin Two Rubber ball etc and through that I got

the contact for a dungeon in London which I hired for a while to get started. Not too long after that I set up my

own dungeon which started out in a small apartment and is now Murder Mile Studios - a large

multi roomed themed photo studio/dungeon and film location to hire.

What is proper slave protocol for someone about to session with You?

To e-mail me with a polite, respectful introduction detailing interests, limits and any health concerns. Upon arrival I expect my subs to be clean and punctual.

What about your favourite horror movie or science fiction movie? Why do they fascinate you so?

I love the old classics like the Omen, Hellraiser, Rosemary’s Baby and Angel Heart. Anything that has a good, ominous atmosphere! I like the aesthetics of horror movies, they also deal with your darkest fears, something that will always be fascinating and thrilling….

Do you think that the horror industry with its movies, books and musical genres such as death metal, black metal are reflective of society’s ills or contribute to society’s ills?

I definitely don’t think that horror movies, books or metal music contribute to societies ills, they are the product of creativity in it’s many forms. If someone wants to do something negative/destructive, they’ll do it regardless.

You obviously like to be busy. You’ve got your drum clinics. You’re still teaching. You had your bands. What drives your strong work ethic?

I don’t play the drums or teach hehe! That’s my husband. I’m the singer/lyricist in Nemhain and we’re on hiatus ATM

What is your favourite type of live show and why - festival, large venue or small venue?

Generally I do like smaller venues as you get a more intimate performance. One of my favourite venues in London is a beautiful old theatre called KoKo. It’s not small, but It’s great to see bands there as the sound is always good, there are lots of balconies so you can always find somewhere to watch without having to contend with a head blocking your view.

Do you have any upcoming projects or events you will be appearing at you would like to mention?

I’ll be starring in a film called Tearful Surender, Which will hopefully start filming next year. I’m also working on my calendar which will be out for pre-sale very soon! You can also check out my fetish adventures on my clips4sale site. I’ve just returned from filming in the OWK and there are lots of new clips being added every week.

Do you have a favorite country that you like to visit?

I have lots of favourite countries, I really love travelling! I go to Mexico a lot, Hawaii was absolutely incredible and I’d really like to visit Patagonia next year. I visited the Amalfi coast last year, which was absolutely stunning and of course the food was divine! :)
