Note: For all template A pieces, unfold each WOF strip before subcutting, to ensure that all template pieces face the same direction.

From Fabric A, fussy cut: eight 9-1/2” x 11”panel blocks

From Fabric B, fussy cut: one 9-1/2” x 11” rectangle

From Fabric C, cut: six 1-1/4” x WOF strips. Subcut: eighteen 1-1/4” x 12-1/2” strips six 2” x WOF strips. Subcut: eighteen 2” x 11” strips

From Fabric D, cut: three 2-1/2” x WOF strips. Subcut: eight 2-1/2” squares thirty-two Template A-Reversed pieces

From each Fabrics E & F, cut: one 2-1/2” x WOF strip. Subcut: four 2-1/2” squares sixteen Template A-Reversed pieces

From Fabric G, cut: seven 1-1/2” x WOF strips. Set aside for inner border. six 2-1/2” x WOF strips. Subcut: twenty-four Template A-Reversed pieces eighty-eight Template A pieces

From Fabric H, cut: six 2-1/2” squares

From Fabric I, cut: four 1-1/2” x WOF strips. Set aside for side borders. sixteen 2-1/2” x WOF strips. Subcut: eighty-eight Template B pieces forty-six 2-1/2” squares twenty-four 2-1/2” x 8-1/2” rectangles twelve 2-1/2” x 12-1/2” rectangles seven 3” x WOF strips. Set aside for outer border. two 5-1/8” x WOF strips. Subcut: twelve 5-1/8” squares. Cut each once on the diagonal. one 6” x WOF strip. Subcut: four 6” x 9” rectanlges one 6-1/4” x WOF strip. Cutting Instructions

From Binding fabric, cut: 250” or more of bias binding

Step 1: Sew a Fabric C 2” x 11” strip to either side of a Fabric A panel block.

Step 2: Sew a Fabric C 1-1/4” x 12-1/2” strip to the top & bottom of the panel block from Step 1. Repeat Steps 1 & 2 to make eight Fabric A panel blocks and one Fabric B block.

Step 3: Sew a Fabric D/Template A-Reverse triangle to a Fabric I/Template B triangle.

Step 4: Sew a Fabric G/Template A triangle to the opposite side of the unit from Step 3. Make thirty-two DG units.

Step 5: Repeat Steps 3 & 4 using Fabric E/Template A-Reverse triangles, Fabric I/Template B triangles, and Fabric G/Template A triangles. Make sixteen EG units.

Step 6: Repeat Steps 3 & 4 using Fabric F/Template A-Reverse triangles, Fabric I/Template B triangles, and Fabric G/Template A triangles. Make sixteen FG units.

Step 7: Sew a Fabric G/Template A and Template A-Reversed to either side of a Fabric I/Template B triangle. Make twenty-four Fabric G star points.

Step 8: Sew a DG unit to one side of a Fabric I 2” x 8-1/2” strip and an EG unit to the opposite side of the strip, following diagram. Make twelve DE strips.

Step 9: Repeat Step 8 sewing a DG unit and an FG unit on opposite sides of a Fabric I 2” x 8-1/2” strip. Make twelve DF strips.

Step 10: Sew together two Fabric D 2-1/2” squares, two Fabric E 2-1/2” squares, and three DE strips following the diagram. Make two.

Step 11: Sew together two Fabric D 2-1/2” squares, two Fabric F 2-1/2” squares, and three DF strips following the diagram. Make two.

Step 12: Arrange the blocks in three rows of three blocks each, and add DE or DF strips for sashing, following the diagrams. Sew each row together. Be sure to pay attention to the orientation of the strips to make sure they match the diagram.

Step 13: Sew a strip from Step 10 to the top of Rows 1 and 3.

Step 14: Sew a strip from Step 11 to the bottom of Rows 1 and 3.

Step 15: Sew all three rows together.

Step 16: Sew a DG unit and an EG unit to opposite sides of a Fabric I 2-1/2” x 12-1/2” strip, following the diagram.

Step 17: Sew a DG unit and an FG unit to opposite sides of a Fabric I 2-1/2” x 12-1/2” strip. Follow the diagram below.

Step 18: Sew a large EG/DG strip to either side of a Fabric I 2-1/2” x 12-1/2” strip to make a right sashing strip. Sew one strip to the right edge of the quilt.

Step 19: Sew a large FG/DG strip to either side of a Fabric I 2-1/2” x 12-1/2” strip to make a left sashing strip. Sew to the left edge of the quilt.

Step 20: Sew a large DG/EG strip to either side of a Fabric I 2-1/2” x 12-1/2” strip to make a right sashing strip. Sew a Fabric I 2-1/2” square to either side of the two remaining sashing strips. Sew to the top edge of the quilt.

Step 21: Sew a large DG/FG strip to either side of a Fabric I 2-1/2” x 12-1/2” strip to make a right sashing strip. Sew a Fabric I 2-1/2” square to either side of the two remaining sashing strips. Sew to the bottom edge of the quilt.

Step 22: Gather:Four 2-1/2” Fabric I squaresFour 2-1/2” G Star Points from Step 7One 2-1/2” Fabric H square

Arrange in three rows of three as shown, noting the orientation of the Star Points. Sew the units together to form rows, pressing the seam toward the pieced units. Sew the rows together, pressing the seams open.

Step 23: Sew one 5-1/8” Fabric I triangle to each of the four edges of the block. Press toward the triangles. The block should measure 9” square.

Repeat Steps 22 and 23 to make a total of six blocks.

Step 24: Gather:three completed Step 23 blockstwo 6” x 9” Fabric I rectanglestwo 6-1/4” x 9” Fabric I rectangles

Sew together to form the top row of the quilt, placing the 6-1/4” wide rectangles on the ends of the row. Sew it to the top edge of the quilt center.

Repeat Step 24 to make the bottom row of the quilt and sew it to the bottom edge of the quilt.

Step 25: Sew the 1-1/2” Fabric I side border strips together in pairs. Trim to the length of the quilt and sew to the left and right edges of the quilt. Press toward the strips.

Step 26: Sew the 1-1/2” Fabric G inner border strips together, end-to end. Trim two lengths to the length of the quilt and sew to the left and right edges of the quilt. Press toward the strips. Trim two lengths to the width of the quilt and sew to the top and bottom edges of the quilt. Press toward the strips.

Step 27: Sew the 3” Fabric I outer border strips together, end-to end. Trim two lengths to the length of the quilt and sew to the left and right edges of the quilt. Press toward the strips. Trim two lengths to the width of the quilt and sew to the top and bottom edges of the quilt. Press toward the strips.

Your quilt top is complete. Baste, quilt, bind and enjoy!
