points a relevant stage of the revolution of windlasses class. The resistance of anchorages and the whole mechanic system have

been carefully tested and are well reliable.

Therefore they are marked for security, capacity and modernity. Mooring and towing winches for navy grant a high level operation

and an uncommon finishing also for what concerns paints. Protection against corrosion has been studied on scientific basis. The

machine is protected, after sandblasting, completely by a good paint then covered by several enamel layers. Pins and other soft

parts are further protected by anti-corrosion treatment.

The motor is equipped with control valve to follow the anchor lowering under motor• Bell having diameter 420 mm hold on the shaft and sliding for the engagement of the barbotin• Chain stopper roller type for chain diameter 36 mm• Hydraulic power unit with double elector-pump, oil tank and accessories to power the windlass• Electric starter panel• Console panel equipped with command lever, change displacement, stop switch, manometer.
