Morality • Jesus sums up the 10 Commandment in the Great

Commandment – “You shall love the Lord, your God, with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind. This is the greatest commandment of all. The second is, “You shall love your neighbor as yourself.”

• God’s kingdom is a place where justice, peace, and love reign. We can experience these things in heaven, but they do exist on earth wherever God’s will is being carried out.

• The Beatitudes reveal the way of living that characterizes God’s Kingdom.

Morality - • All people are created with free will and self-centeredness.• Through conversion, we turn back to God with all our heart,

while turning away from selfishness and the isolation to which it leads.

• Created with free will, we choose how we will live. These choices affect our life on earth and our life hereafter.

• Conscience is the inner sense or power by which we judge an act to be right or wrong. It also helps us to make good moral choices.

• We develop our conscience by integrating into our thoughts, decisions and our very being what the law of God and the teaching of the Church tell us.
