INTRODUCTION This document is intended for integrators and factory maintenance operators working on SIEMENS panels. It is made up of 3 parts. The first part is a description of the Master installed on panels and associated functionalities. Then it describes the operations necessary for the implementation of the SIEMENS panel in a factory. Finally, it describes the maintenance procedures.

1 - DESCRIPTION

1.1 - MOP hard disk organisation The MOP hard disk has a capacity of 240 GB. It is partitioned as follows on delivery:

Screens are developed on WinCC V13 or further, and a link is done between the project WinCC V13 and STEP7 V5.5. The software to use for PLC programming for Renault SCUBE standard is STEP7 V5.5. Step7 V13 or further is not yet validated and standard blocs delivered by Renault are not yet compatible with STEP7 V13.

1.5 - Access levels Two users are declared which have different access levels:

- "Operation" level - "Administrator" level

Login: exploitation Password: exploitation The “Operation” session is the default one. It is opened when the MOP starts up. No password is required to open this session. Several applications are associated with the start-up of this session, and particularly:

The operation session only allows restricted access to the PC's functions:

1.5.3 - Access to the different user levels It is not possible to open several sessions at the same time on an MOP. The MOP is configured so as to start an Operation session automatically and without a password in the following cases:

- starting up the MOP - closing a session

To open an Administrator session you have to enter the "Administrator" user name with the corresponding password. To do so you must display the Login window. The window can be displayed by holding the Shift key down in the following circumstances:

- closing a session

1.6 - Data backup and restoration of the MASTER

1.6.1 - Data backup with SieSaveRestit SieSaveRestit is a tool which simplifies the backup copy of the MOP. With this tool, you can save quickly in the same directory (E:\Backup\MOP) all files and directories which are specific on each MOP.

- Step7 project - Hardware update - IHMP screens - Setting files of SMPLOC - IP address - …

This backup copy can be done with one clic ! After that, the directory E:\Backup\MOP can be saved on a remote server. SieSaveRestit can restore all files and directory from E:\Backupup\MOP to their original location.

SieSaveRestit allows you to backup these specific settings on the partition E:\Backup\MOP and on the maintenance USB hard disk with Label “USB_SIEMENS”.

The backup parameters can be adapted to special requirements. It is possible to include any registry key, folder or individual file in the backup scenario. The parameterization of the tool is described in "Documentation outil SieSaveRestit".

1.7 - Remote desktop connection The remote access to the IPC on MOPV3 is done with VNC. A VNC server is installed on the IPC. You can create a remote connection to the MOPV3 from a VNC client on a PC connected on the same network than the MOPV3. VNC login/password is exploit/exploit by default. The SOPV3 is delivered with a VNC client and can establish a remote desktop connection with the MOPV3. Note The operator panel “ROP” (remote operating panel) used to have a remote connection on MOPV1 and MOPV2 with PC anywhere do not exist anymore. You should use now the operator panel SOPV3 which include a VNC viewer.

1.8 - Language management The default language of the MASTER is English. The windows language and the keyboard layout must be changed with the software “SetPanel”. The language for the application software interfaces must be selected in the settings of the applications (IHMP, SMPLOC, Step 7, WinCC Flexible...).

1.9 - Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS)

1.9.1 - Description Beginning from July 2017, the MOP V3 are delivered with the uninterruptible UPS power supply built in. It is no more an option, but remains an extension kit.

The UPS enables the PC to safely shut down when there is an unexpected power off. This prevents Windows and configuration applications from shutting down suddenly, which may lead to problems when the PC is restarted. The setting of the UPS is done by 3 interfaces:

- switches on the hardware component - setting file of SITOP software (settings already done in the MASTER) - enabling or disabling Sitop

The following settings are done on the Master: If a power cut off occurs, all the MOP component parts are shutting down except the IPC, the panel and the PLC. These three devices are powered by the battery. If the interrupt of the power supply occurs, after 10s the software smploc is closed. All the other running software will be closed after 12s and the computer is shutting down. The UPS powered off after 105s and the components are no more power supplied. If the power supply turns back before 12s the IPC, the panel and the PLC are not powered off. If the power supply turns back between 12s and 105s the IPC is shutting down but the panel and the PLC are still power supplied. In this case it’s necessary to switch off and switch on the IPC to restart it.

The configuration file is located in “C:\Users\Public\Documents\Sitop”.

1.9.2 - Interface The next window appears automatically when

- The session start - The USB cable between the UPS module and the PC is disconnected - The charge of the battery is lower than 85% - The battery is used to power the PC - The battery needs to be changed

Users can display this window at any time via the Start menu. Users can display the LOG file where are recorded all the events that have occurred by activating the Protocole (Protocol) button. The LOG file is located in “C:\Users\Public\Public Documents\Sitop”.

The battery maintenance operations are described in the documentation "Main Operator Panel – Hardware Installation Instructions", chapter 10.14 "Replacing SITOP BATTERY MODULES".

1.9.3 - Shut down of the MOP

When the MOP uses the UPS the steps to shut down the operator panel are:

- Shut down the PC by “Start -> Shut down” - Put the switch of the UPS component on “OFF” (DIP 12) to disable the power supply of the PC

by the battery

- Shut down the power supply

2 - IMPLEMENTATION Different operations must be performed when implementing a MOP Panel:

- setting the language of the operator Panel - Setting the parameters of the network connections - Setting STEP7

o Hardware configuration (PLC, coupler, Profinet, PC station, …) o PLC program o OPC server

- Setting WINCC FLEXIBLE - Setting ODIL - Setting IHMP - Setting SMPLOC - activation/deactivation of the UPS monitoring with the SITOP UPS module - Change of the attachment of the license ODIL on the MOP

2.1 - Setting the language used on MOP The windows language and the keyboard layout must be changed with the software “SetPanel”. The language for the application software interfaces must be selected in the settings of the applications (IHMP, SMPLOC, Step 7, WinCC Flexible...). The SetPanel interface is organised as follows:

By default, the program “STARTMWOP.exe” starts automatically the software of the list below each time you start an exploitation session: - SMPLOC - IHMP - WinCC Flexible Runtime

- Service data collector The program waits until the end of the Siemens OPC server startup before to start all other softwares and services.

2.2.2 - Change startup softwares The setting of startup software is done in the file : C:\ProgramFiles\PupitreSiemens\StartMWOP.ini To disable the automatic start of software a “#” must be added at the beginning of the line. The line can also be deleted.

2.3 - Setting the 2 network connections of the PC It is essential to set the parameters of the TCP/IP links in order to implement TCP/IP communications on the Ethernet network. The connection of equipment that is not configured to a network can cause serious system malfunctions. For further details on the implementation of networks, refer to document GE03.C0.004 "Guide to the implementation of the Level 1 and Level 2 network”.

2.3.1 - Description The IPC has 2 network interfaces with the following designation:

- Level 1 HMI-SAVE - Level 2

"Level 1 HMI-SAVE" connection: This is the connection to the 16-port internal switch. This network interface is used by the OPC Server, by IHMP and by Step 7 to download the program and parameterize the Profinet IO Devices. "Level 2" connection: This interface is connected to the factory network. It is used by SMPLOC (SMP99), GEDAUTO and Eset Nod 32 Antivirus (for the virus database update) and other purposes.

2.3.2 - Setting the parameters of the HMI-SAVE level 1 network connection All the facilities have the same addressing plan. On MOPV3, it is recommended to save the programs of ABB and FANUC robots with the FTP server « Cesar FTP » installed on the panel. The backup of KUKA robots uses the Windows file sharing. In this case, it is not necessary to implement the FTP server. A folder for robot backup is already available on the MOP at the location: E:\Backup\robots. The E:\Backup folder also contains the SieSaveRestit backup of the MOP. The file tree of the facility robots backup can be configured by the factory. It can be E:\Backup\robots\<name of the robot> Example: Backup of a ABB IRC5 robot named A0RB in E:\Backup\robots\A0RB

Types of robots compatibles with the FTP backup: ABB : IRC5, SAC+ Fanuc : R30ib The Kuka KRC2 and KRC4 robots can also be saved on the MOPV3 with the Windows file sharing. This setting is necessary if you want that the battery power supplied the PC when a power cut occurs. Running the SetPanel utility:

2.18 - Change of the attachment of the license ODIL on the MOP The ODIL software is delivered with a license attached to the MAC address of the network interface of the IPC. During the commissioning phase, the license must be attached to the IP address of the IPC instead of its MAC address to avoid the loss of the license in case of an IPC replacement. For Software Odil Renault, the program « ProtectMacToIpV2.exe » is necessary. It is available on the Intranet Renault (Web page panel). You can also ask it to the project manager. The procedure of modification is the following one:

The attachement is realized with IP settings configured on MOP PC. Those settings must be done by the plant before to change attachement of ODIL License.

On Windows explorer, open with the software “XML Notepad” the file C:\Users\Public\Prosyst\Protect\Odil_Renault.attach. See the line “TypeAttachement” and check that the license is linked to the mac address of the

PC. Close this window.

Use a key USB connected to the MOP to execute the tool "ProtectMacToIp".

The attachement is modified

To check the attachment, open with the software “XML Notepad” the file C:\Users\Public\Prosyst\Protect\Odil_Renault.attach. See the line “TypeAttachement” and check that licence is linked to the IP address of the PC.

2.19 - Back up the specific settings Once the panel settings are completed, two backups must be performed:

- Backup the panel's specific settings (PLC program, IHM pages, etc.) from partition C:\ to partition E:\ Refer to the paragraph "Backing-up and restoring the panel's specific settings" in this documentation

- Backup the TCP/IP parameters on the Siemens panel maintenance USB hard disk. See

paragraph "Backup on the maintenance USB hard disk" in this documentation. This backup copy can be copy on a USB key. This backup is useful when the PC must be replaced or when all software must be re-intalled because of a system failure.

3 - MAINTENANCE This chapter is intended for the maintenance operator who works on the MOP panel. It describes the potential actions carried out in a "disk management" intervention on an MOP. Several procedures have been defined to allow a fast restart of the MOP in these cases:

- Software error which involved a new installation of the PC - Replacement of the PC

3.1 - Saving and restoring specific panel parameters Specific parameters means step 7 project, STEP7 hardware updates, IHMP screens, SMPLOC settings, IP address, …

3.1.1 - Saving on E:\ A shortcut to launch the backup process application (SieSaveRestit) is in the Start Menu: “Start Menu > 3 Backup > 01 Save MOP to E Backup”

Click on the "Save start” button to proceed. The parameters and the data are then backed-up in the folder E:\Sauve according to the parameterization. The parameters backed-up by default are described in the table shown in the table "Description of the maintenance tools". To modify the data backed-up, see the documentation of the SieSaveRestit utility "Documentation outil SieSaveRestit". As this function performs a complete backup of the parameters and data, it is recommended to use it regularly. It is then possible to restore the entire context in case of need.

3.2 - Restoring the panel partition C:\SYSTEM Warning! Restoring the C drive from its image causes the loss of the PC's settings and all the application data. Settings and data that have been backed-up beforehand can be restored.

3.2.1 - Restore partition C:\ “System” with the Image & Partition Creator To restore the partition C:\ of the Master do the following procedure: Connect the USB to the IPC and restart the Computer. If the shown picture appears use the “F12” to enter the Boot Manager.

In the Boot Option Menu choose the USB key you have connected to the IPC.

From Simatic Manager,

1) Start “NetPro” from the Simatic Manager

2) Compile and load the settings of the PC station Select the OPC Server and click on the “Save and Compile” button.

Confirm the following window with a click on the “OK” button.

Check that there were no errors during the compilation.

Download the settings to the PLC by a click on the “Download” button. Confirm the two following warning with “Yes” and “OK”.

After the end of the download you can close NetPro. If you will receive an error message, do the process a second time. If you have an error message, load the settings a second time The OPC server is set correctly You can now launch IHMP, SMPLOC and WINCC RT If you start IHMP and the data collector is not started, restart the session or see chapter

“Implementation of IHMP”: The default password of administrator session is 60256. If you want to change this password, use the

3.2.4 - Reactivation of Visio 2013 The Visio License File is stored on the Backup USB device “USB_SIEMENS” and after the restore process “02 restore MOP from E Backup” at the folder “C:\PupitreSiemens”.

To reactivate Visio 2013 start VAMT3.1: “Start All programs Programs Windows Kits Windows ADK Volume Activation Management Tool 3.1”

Create a new database “Visio2013Activation” and connect VAMT to the database.

Confirm the new database with „Yes“.

To import the license file click “Office” on the left side of the screen. Now on “Import list…” on the right side and choose the path where the license file is saved. The license file can be restored from the following paths:

3.3 - Restoring the panel's hard disk Warning! Restoring the C drive from its image causes the loss of the PC's settings and all the application data. Settings and data that have been backed-up beforehand can be restored.

3.3.1 - Restoring complete system with the Image & Partition Creator To restore the complete Master of the MOP do the following procedure: Connect the USB to the IPC and restart the Computer. If the shown picture appears use the “F12” to enter the Boot Manager.


Confirm the following window with „OK”.

To restore the whole Master choose the option which is described with “Disk”. Be sure that the dialog “Complete restore of a backuped IPC.” is shown on the right side of the window. Click on “Select”.

Confirm the restoration of the Master with “OK”.

The process has been finished if the following window appears. Confirm with “OK”.

Press “Esc” to exit the shown menu and to restart the IPC.

3.4 - Replacing Box PC 627

3.4.1 - Create a computer with Master for spare part When a computer is bought to Siemens for spare part, it is delivered with Windows 7 Ultimate installed but without the Master. The maintenance must install the Master on the Spare part to be able to change quickly a PC which is out of order on the production line. 1° Power supply the computer with 24V, connect a USB keyboard and a USB mouse 2° Do the operation described chapter 3.3.1 3° Stock the computer as spare part

3.4.2 - Replacing a computer on a MOP

1° Replace the computer. The PC replacement procedure is described in the documentation Main Operator Panel – Hardware Installation Instructions chapter 8.4.1 "Replacing the SIMATIC Box PC".

2° Apply the procedure described chapter 3.3.2

3.5 - Creation and Restoration of customized imageswith the Paragon Hard Disk Manager™ 13 Suite

If you want to install new software on the MOP or you don’t want to use SieSaveRestit, you can create and restore new images with the Paragon Hard Disk Manager 13 Suite.

It is possible to start the Paragon Hard Disk Manager 13 Suite from the delivered USB device or from the DVD “SIMATIC IPC Image & Partition Creator Version 3.4.x”.

3.5.1 - Start Paragon Hard Disk Manager 13 Suite from USB device Connect the USB to the IPC and restart the Computer. If the shown picture appears use the “F12” to enter the Boot Manager.

Open the Windows Explorer, select your DVD disk drive and execute the “CD_MENU.EXE”. In the following menu double click on “Paragon hard disk manager 13 Suite”.

The following window appears. Click on “Run from DVD” to start the program.
