Where did the moose originate from?

• The word moose is said to come from the Algonquin word mooswa, which means “twig-eater”.

• Over hundreds of thousands of years, moose have migrated across Europe. There was a very cold period in history, and during this time, they moved to Alaska. After this, more migration across North America continued.
