Introduction & Services

At Mooney Architectural Ironmongery our core business is to specialize in the specification and supply of

Architectural Ironmongery.

The company was established over 10 years ago by Mark Mooney who has over 25 years experience in the

Industry having worked for both Ironmongery Manufacturers such as Hewi & Dorma as well as Architectural

Ironmongers.

As well as Mark our Ironmongery Team includes Michael Rooney & Peter Kenny in Sales with Contract

support from Mark Norton. All the staff on the Ironmongery Team each have between 10 and 25 years

experience working in the Industry.

Michael Rooney is a GAI Diploma Holder have completed the Guild of Architectural Ironmongery's 3 year

Diploma Course receiving Gold medals in all disciplines in his final year.

Our philosophy is to work with both Architects and Building Contractors to create the appropriate hardware

specification for the project taking into account the operational and design requirements for each individual

door while also taking into consideration regulatory requirements and the budget for the project.

We offer support every step of the way from initial appraisal of the project requirements through to final

completion and handover with continued support for end users as required.

To this end we offer a Free Scheduling Service and are always on hand to assist our partners in any way we

can with issues regarding ironmongery.

We can also assist in the education of staff on Ironmongery with presentations including our Allgood

Demystifying Ironmongery CPD Presentation.

As well as offering Ironmongery Solutions we also supply High Quality Washroom equipment and in

conjunction with our sister company ALL-Tech Access Solutions Ltd we can provide Automatic Door and

Access Control Solutions.

Automatic Door Operators

Light Duty

In its simplest arrangement we use the Geze

EMDF Swing Door Operator set for low energy

operation with Push Button Activation.

Heavy Duty

Where a more powerful operator is required

we use either the Geze EMDF set for Fully

Automatic Operation or on heavier doors the

Geze TSA 160. The operators can be activated

in a number of ways including Push Buttons or

Sensors.

Safety

All our installations are carried out by the highly

experienced engineers in our PSA Licensed

sister company ALL-Tech Access Solutions in

accordance with the safety requirements set

out in EN16005. This can include the installation

of additional hardware such as Finger

Protectors, Safety Sensors, Safety Signage and

Door Barriers.

We also offer solutions for Auto Sliding Doors.
