• This is our moodboard for our digipak. I feel that these images are something that we could incorporate into our final digipak. The artists are all from the singer-songwriter genre expect Beyonce and Rihanna. The main fonts I like are from Adele and Lana Del Rey’s digipaks as we felt this could be something that would add into our digipak. All of these artists have their own specific fonts, which gives them an identity for themselves and for the target audience. For our first digipak I wanted to use images that were within the outside settings, example like the park or the town centre. But I soon then realized that many of these artists tend to have images of either extreme close-up shots or medium close up shots. Therefore I decided to change the whole style of our first draft digipak. We did a photo-shoot with our artist and from this we were able to pick and choose suitable images that we as a group felt would be relevant for our digipak. I wanted to create a digipak that was different from the typical digipaks of singer-songwriters, therefore I added a different vibe and a sense of warmth. The flowers used for CD cover symbolise the idea that there is still hope and faith left for the Ill character in our music video. I used Lana Del Ray’s CD cover as I felt this is something that I could easily do for our own digipak for the album ‘ All Of My Troubles’. The idea of having black and white photo’s for the swings and trees came from looking at Adele’s digipak, where most of her images are in black and white. I felt that by adding black and white photo’s this would style keep the conventions of our genre, as we have two photographs associated to the main colours. The flowers on our font cover came from researching other existing products which consisted of artists having flowers within their background.
