Business News1. State Bank pour more capital into interbank system The State Bank of Viet Nam announced it would inject additional capital with longer terms into the interbank open market system. The pronouncement immediately helped lower interbank rates from 21-22% to 15-19% per year.
2. Interest rates fluctuate in week Following the State Bank of Viet Nam’s decision to increase the basic interest rate by 1% per annum (7%8%) on November 11. Commercial banks started paying depositors a higher

cooperation contract with Prevoir Vietnam to include

insurance products.
