GURUPOORNIMA CELEBARTIONS
COMPETITIONS…..A TALENT SEARCH
With an attempt to explore and nourish the talents of the students we conducted an
Essay competition on Transformation through Inspiration for class VI to X. The purpose of essay competition was to
make the students get transformed through Inspiration and to demonstrate the writing skills by penning down their
thoughts. A neat and beautiful writing always seeks the attention of others. To develop awareness for love and good
hand writing, this competition was conducted for classes III, IV & V. The importance of good handwriting was re-
emphasized through the competition. The ability to express someone else words in our own way will enable a child to
create his /her own unique identity. With this aim we conducted English story telling for classes I and II. The children
got an opportunity to showcase their creativity.

STEPS TOWARD EXCELLENCE
Sai Ram to One and All.
Being a privileged student of Sri Sathya Sai Vidya Vihar, I
strongly feel that a couple of values that I developed
here helped me a lot to elevate my personality and
hereby I want to share them with you to cope up with
life. This is based on the valuable principle of Swami
“Sharing and caring”.
Don’t restrict yourself from playing. Instead fix
certain time for your studies. We know that time is
valuable. Time once lost can’t be regained. So
utilizing it carefully is the wisest choice.
Don’t make friendship with wrong students. Stay
away from them. It is good to be friendly with
everyone, but imbibing bad qualities from them is
not acceptable.
Always see positive in others. Be always positive.
Learn from experience and practice for perfection.
Don’t compare marks, see the remarks. The student
who is poor in academics may excel in other aspects.
Help ever hurt never.
Don’t try to prove yourself - Just improve yourself.
Be honest at home with your parents, with teachers
in the school and with everyone in the society.
Speak softly with love and care.

RISING PRICES
Rising prices are a nightmare for common people. Prices of essential commodities like wheat, rice, pulses, oil, milk and vegetables etc have soared so high that people of average income find it very difficult to live with such low income. People living below poverty find it impossible to buy. The Government is doing its best to check the unprecedented rise in prices by opening fair price shops in rural areas and thus providing rice and essential commodities to the weaker sections of the society at subsidized prices. Still the rise in price goes unabated profiteering and hoarding is rampant in our country. Our traders are unscrupulous and they try to create artificial scarcity. So our traders are also responsible for abnormal rise in prices. Hence this rise in price of essential commodities can soon cause inflation and human survival would extinct.

Manipuri from different gurus. He acquired scholarly knowledge

of Hyderabad. Ramakrishna’s efforts to consolidate his work and
perpetuate the Andhra Traditions of dance like Lasya aspect of
‘Andhra Natyam’ and Tandava aspect of Perini to the succeeding

GURU The one who teaches,
And also preaches.
Shows his patience,
When we don’t show our common-sense.
Be with us until we proceed,
And make us succeed.
When we are in gloom,
He makes us bloom.
He says the remark in our behavior,
Which plays an important role.
The moment we step into the wrong track,
He turns us to the correct track
Which becomes the turning point in our life
We feel pleasure,
Which we can’t measure
Because He is our treasure…..
He is none other than my Beloved
BHAGAWAN…..My Guru!!!!!
