• Grab a water, coffee, etc., Before we start

• You Should have already received your prerequisite materials and your workshop manual (they are both in you’re my account page). If not contact Customer Support for help

Using This Workshop

• Pick one strategy to start your paper trading with. It is not uncommon to want to trade everything that comes your way but just consider one strategy (ex. Buying calls and puts, spreads, etc). Buying calls and puts will be the most basic to start with.

• Print out the “Options Process Selection System”

• Print out the “Potential Trading Candidates” from the workshop slides (you will receive these slides approximately one hour prior to the start of the event).

• The candidates will be potential trade setups to watch over the next few days and weeks; look through them daily for potential trade setups.

• Review the recording of the live workshop over the next few days to help solidify the information you heard and pick up on the things you may have missed.

• Complete the homework at the end of this manual.

It is important to have an understanding of how the overall market moves. For most traders that means looking at, reviewing and tracking what the S&P 500 is doing. Get to know it intimately.

The S&P 500 is a trader’s index unlike the Dow which is an investor’s index.

The CBOE Volatility Index (Daily)

THE CBOE VOLATILITY INDEX The CBOE Volatility Index is a volatility index known by its ticker symbol "VIX." It is calculated by taking a weighted average of the implied volatility from eight calls and puts on the S&P 100 Index.

The VIX readings rise as price of puts increase, thus a high VIX reading indicates fear is prevalent in the market.

AB = CD

Fibonacci Extensions (also known as the ABC pattern) is a major tool for any fibonacci trader.

The ABC Tool has multiple uses. One of my favorite methods for using it is whenstocks are near their all time highs or lows.

When it is drawn properly they will give 2 high probability targets and one additional target for a runner.

ABC / Fibonacci Success Method

One of the most utilized methods for using extensions is a fairly easy one to understand. Here are the steps:

1- Draw the fibonacci support & resistance lines

2- The beginning point of the fibonacci is the ”A” in the pattern

3- The ending point of the fibonacci is the “B” in the pattern

4- The “C” in the pattern is the lowest low of the reversal.

Each of the extension lines is a possible exit point.

The extension lines gain strength if there is a confluence between an ABC line and another fibonacci level.

Each level is a place to consider scaling out of the trade

The AB = CD pattern has been discussed in every major Fibonacci work.

Bullish AB = CD Pattern

The AB = CD pattern is a reversal pattern.

Once the pattern is completed, the trader looks for a reversal of the original pattern.

Confluence zones give added strength to the AB = CD pattern.

The strongest AB = CD pattern is when the BC reversal is .618.

Extensions and confluences give exit zones.

Scaling out is the preferred exit method.

The exit of the AB = CD pattern will require use of the Fibonacci Extension tool.

Start the “A” on the “B line” of the AB=CD

The “B” will go to the “C line” of the AB=CD

The “C” will go to the “D line” of the AB=CD

Use each level as a place to scale out of the trade.

Homework

To help coach you through the process, you will be assigned homework each month. This is meant to be done throughout the month, not all in one day just to get it over with. You should set some time aside each day (if possible) to work on the assignments to help improve your skills

This month’s homework:• Draw the Fibonacci (Support & Resistance) on all stocks on the Fibs watchlist included in this manual. Watch the fibonacci video (on your my account page) and pause the video at each stock. Draw the fibs the same as I have done.

• Review the “Thrust Watch Lists” and work with them over the next month, checking daily for the Thrust Pattern to run out of steam and start drawing the fibs on them. This is my next months starter list for my fib candidates.

• Start creating a written trade setup for the one trade you want to focus on. Write out in detail the identification, entry, management and exit rules. The more details you can come up with the better your plan will be. Continue to do this until every setup traded has a written plan with full details.

• Start a trading Journal to track all of your trades. Use a spiral notebook and write down anything that happens in your decision making process to exiting the trade including your emotions.

• Start doing 3 paper trades a day with your written trade setup.
