About Mongolia’s Youth to Business Forum 2013

Youth to Business Forum is an initiative powered by AIESEC and has been implemented in different AIESEC entities around the world. The event aims to create a space to express youth opinion on key issues that the world is facing and how young people and businesses can affect them by working together.

What makes this space truly unique is the union of thoughts from across section of youth, development experts and business leaders with the intention of creating societal changes and leadership in communities.

Mongolia’ ! Youth t" Busine# Forum 2013The forum will be a one day event where students from top universities of Mongolia and leaders of businesses from different sectors will discuss and brainstorm solutions for ongoing social issues in Mongolia on the platform of workshops and discussions based on the given theme.

Date: 14th April 2013

Participant!: We are anticipating 160 students from top universities in Mongolia (National University of Mongolia, University of Humanities, Mongolian International University, Institute of Finance and Economics, Mongolia University of Science & Technology and Raffles International University) to participate in this event and key companies and organizations from different sectors with good case studies of the theme.

Theme: Shared values

We believe that Mongolia is changing at a very fast pace. The demographics, labour mobility, emergence of mining industry, ongoing social issues and volatile economic conditions are among many factors that have changed role of business and its interaction with communities.

Companies and organizations should seek to create an environment consisting of values that can support the development of all sectors in their society through exploring and expanding connections between societal and economic progress.

Inevitably, Innovation coupled with Entrepreneurial mindset in the youth looking for impactful Synergy across sectors is contributing to the creation of those shared values.

It is true that the dynamics have changed. The mantle of changing the game and shaping the country now belongs to the youth of today.

For all of those reasons, Mongolia’s Youth to Business Forum 2013 wants to facilitate the conversation and connection between the youth - who want to learn and create solutions - with business leaders that have the experiences and influence to affect changes.

About Mongolia’s Youth to Business Forum 2013

Agenda The agenda is designed for one whole day and is divided into three parts: Business 2 Youth, Youth 2 Business and Youth & Business.

During the opening, the theme - Shared Value - will be addressed and all of the participating companies will be introduced.

Right after that, Business 2 Youth will kickstart with Keynote speeches related to three previously explained blocks of content. All the speeches will be followed by Q&A between the speakers and students.

In order to achieve a deeper understanding of the theme, students will engage in different Workshops divided based on three blocks of content: Entrepreneurship, Innovation and Synergy. And all workshops will be run twice to ensure that students can review the issue from more than one perspective.

Youth 2 Business will be started with Networking Lunch, where young and talented students can approach companies for discussions and insights on the theme of Youth to Business Forum and employment information. This part of the day will be continued with Topic spaces, where companies can listen to students expressing their opinions and ideas on the three topics.

The last part of the day, also the most important, is Youth & Business, where intense discussions about how the youth and business can collaborate to tackle all the addressed problems will take place.

After the event, every participating company will be invited to the Networking Dinner, a good place to get to know more about AIESEC Mongolia, other companies involved in Mongolia’s Youth to Business Forum and those who have been working with AIESEC before.
