Open the Trading Page
1. Open your internet browser, visit www.monexsecurities.com.au and login to your account
2. On the left menu, click My Details > Trading Accounts > Login as CA# (your trading account
number)

Build Your Own Watchlists
The Monex platform allows users to create up to 10 multi-market watchlists with up to 30 symbols in
each. You can select various ways to view your watchlists and customise this based on your preferred
metrics.
1. Select Stock Quote > My Watchlist > Add Watchlist
2. Select Rename, Edit Price/Qty or Delete to manage your watchlist

3. To add stocks into your watchlist, select the country and enter the stock symbol and click on
Add Stock to add it into your watchlist.
The symbol lookup tool can help you to search for the stock symbol.
4. Click on a specific stock on your watchlist to view the chart
The chart platform supports for different kinds of indicators like moving averages, MACD, etc.

5. Select Add View to select the information you want to view, such as volume, day range, etc.

Place an Order
1. Start Placing an Order
To place a buy order, go to Buy Order > Limit Buy or Market Buy
Limit Order: you can choose a limit price to place an order
Market Order: order placed at market price
2. Select Market
Select the market you would like to trade in the pull-down menu.

To search for a stock, click on Code Search

5. Select Order Type
If you want to execute your order at a particular price, select Limit to place a limit order. To
execute your order instantly at market price, select Market to place a market order.
6. Enter Limit Price
Enter the price that you would like to purchase the stock at. Your buy order will be executed at a
price equal or below the Limit Price specified by you.

7. Specify Quantity
Input the quantity of shares you would like to buy.
8. Calculate Maximum Purchase Quantity
Click the calculator icon next to the Quantity field and it will tell you the maximum shares you
can buy with 1) total funds available, or 2) the expected amount you want to invest.

9. Review the Gross Amount
The gross amount of your order will be calculated automatically for your reference. Click the
cash register icon to see the breakdown of the estimate total cost.
10. Select Good Till Date
Select the good till date in the pull-down list or click the calendar icon to select a date. Your
order will be valid until the ‘Good till Date’, the maximum good till date that you can select is 30
days from the day you place the order.

11. Confirm and Submit Your Order

Once order received, an order ID will be generated.
Click View Pending Order to check your order status

To view all the unfilled orders, go to Order Status > Pending/ Intraday Executions
2. View Order Status
To view the detail order status, click the respective order ID
Change an Order 1. Change Order
To change any unfilled order, click the Change link on the order status page.
2. Input Changes & Submit
You can change the quantity, limit price and good till date (if applicable). Kindly note that any
change to price will only affect unfilled quantity.

Cancel an Order 1. Cancel an Order
You can cancel an unfilled order by clicking the “Cancel” link on the order status page. To cancel
more than one order at a time, check the boxes of the respective orders and click the bulk
cancel button.

To view all your filled order(s) today, go to “Order Status” page and check Intraday Execution
Report
View Order History 1. View Order History
You can check the details of your previous instructions by selecting “Order History” in the menu
bar.
2. View Instruction History
You can view the instruction history of any specified period within recent 3 months.
