Using the packet from last week, what are some things we learn about this Mr. Eliot?
We’re about the read The Waste Land.
It’s no small task; so don’t allow yourselves to be frustrated because we’re going to take it one step at a time.
Step One.
Look at the poem and repeat after me, “

Step One: Listen as the poem is being read. Do not take time to annotate, though mark (*) parts you’d like to go back to after the reading.
Step Two: Annotate it to the best of your understanding.
Step Three: Share your annotations/understandings – compare and discuss.
Step Four: Come to a consensus on meaning, significance, and purpose (consider allusions, symbolism, and imagery)
