Free, sociable, family friendly guided walks. No need to book, just turn-up.A walk leader will be at the start of the walk whatever the weather.

Health Walks are typically under 90 minutes over easy terrain and accessible for most people. Health walks are supported by Walking for Health (accredited by the national Walking for Health scheme managed by the Ramblers & Macmillan Cancer Support).

Level 2 and 3 Walks are longer, more strenuous and may include hills and stiles. These walks are supported by organisations such as The Horsham Society, Steyning Downland Scheme, Storrington Conservation Society.

Our volunteer walk leaders are supported by Horsham District Council. A leader will be at the start of the walk whatever the weather. We reserve the right to change or cancel a walk without notice. Walk leaders are experienced volunteers and we expect them to be treated with respect at all times

Please wear suitable footwear. If you need to change your shoes please arrive early. Children under 16s must be accompanied by an adult. Vehicles are parked at owners’ risks.

We are always looking for new volunteer walk leaders and new walking routes. Our programme wouldn't exist without our fantastic walk leaders. As a volunteer walk leader, you would be helping people in your community to get active and healthy.

Guidelines for Dog OwnersDogs are welcome on some of our walks and these are clearly marked. The walk leader (who is responsible for the safety of walkers) may offer advice or request removal of the dog from the walk if it is causing a nuisance. Dog walkers are responsible for the actions of their dogs so please:

Ensure your dog does not run back and forth through a line of walkers. Clear up after your dog and remember dogs may need a drink of water. Keep dogs on a lead in a field of sheep, if you encounter cattle and they

come towards you, let the dog go as they see dogs as a threat to them and their calves.
