MOMS Club of Weatherby-Logan August 2013 Newsletter Upcoming Events End of Summer Family Pool Party! Friday August 16 th 6-9pm at the Peachwood Swim Club Please see Evite for details, and RSVP on the Evite. A message from our President Hi Moms!! I hope everyone is having a wonderful summer!! I have been having a great time at the pool and on play dates with friends!! We have some fun activities coming up on our calendar for this month: Mommy and Me 12-24, Splash Party, Family Pool Party, Make Your Own Sundae Party, MOMS Night Out, and some park days!! Check out some of the community events at the local libraries and Dream Park that are on the calendar as well. I attend many of the local events with my children and we really have a nice time! The other Board Members and I are very excited about our upcoming year, and we really would like to encourage all members to put events on our calendar and attend calendar events, so we came up with a cute idea to give a little bit more incentive to do so. Each time you host a MOMS Club calendar event and/or attend a MOMS Club calendar event, you will earn a ticket to use at our end of year banquet. The more tickets that you earn, the better chance you have to win the door prizes at the banquet! This only counts for MOMS Club activities (the ones printed in black on the calendar). Don’t worry, you will not have to collect and keep track of hundreds of little tickets! The Board Members will keep a master list to keep track of how many tickets each person earns, and we will distribute the tickets at the banquet! If anyone has any ideas or suggestions, please contact one of the Board Members!! I hope to see you at some of our events this month! Erica

Our club received a beautiful thank you card from the Sandy Hook School. They thanked us for the snowflakes the children made during our holiday party that were sent to them.
