Now these talents are also being made available to others and the wider region for consultancy projects. Our Team The Molonglo Consulting team is skilled in ecology, soil science, land planning, biodiversity assessment, erosion control, Aboriginal cultural land management, environmental and agricultural economics, project management and community engagement. Our strength is in bringing all of these skills together— our focus is Inter‐connected Landscape Management (ILM). We also have strong community roots, as a regional coordinator of local landcare and parkcare groups. The environmental outcomes we achieve are embedded in community stewardship. This facilitates long‐term follow‐up management of projects. Inter‐connected Landscape Management We enhance our landcare programs through the development, design and delivery of adaptive ILM, and apply the same approach to our consulting services. Our ILM approach is an over‐arching framework for all our environmental management work across the southern tablelands landscapes of the ACT and NSW. We aim to achieve a healthy, resilient and productive landscape with diverse, inter‐connected ecosystems and communities. Our holistic approach recognises the importance of ecological health and resilience that is interdependent with diverse social perspectives, values and connections.
