UNIVERSITY OF KENTUCKY APPAREL DESIGNWhile working at Falcon Screen Printing, I designed over 40 UK ap-

parrel pieces. With complete creative freedom I was able to take many

ideas and make them my own. These T-shirts have all been printed

and sold around Lexington and throughout the state of Kentucky.

fellow superheroes,[9] Superman has also been referred to as "The Man of Steel",

Daily Star in the earliest stories). There he works alongside reporter Lois Lane, wi

Buster’s, now of-ficially Buster’s Billiards & Backroom, is finding new life in the Lexington Distillery District – an area of former bourbon distilleries and ware-houses that is being revi-talized and transformed into an entertainment destination. The Old Tarr Distillery Warehouse, Buster’s new home, was built in 1860, and was part of the Ashland/Old Tarr Distillery (the first registered distillery in Lexington). The Lexington Distillery and the James E. Pepper Dis-tillery (originally Henry Clay Distillery) were also part of this thriving com-mercial area. At their zenith in the late 1800’s and the early 1900’s, these distilleries pro-duced more than 36,000 barrels of bourbon per year, and the bonded warehouses within this 60-acre distillery area, including the Old Tarr Distillery Warehouse, housed over 180,000barrels of bourbon.

UK VS. WINTHROP LSU beat Auburn, which is on pace to be the worst team ever from a BCS conference. Auburn beat Florida State. Florida State beat No. 1 Duke. This sequence of events led UK Coach John Calipari to note that parity makes for no team head and shoulders above another.Or as LSU freshman Matt Derenbecker put it, “Transitive property is, we beat Duke.”

The state has promised gen-erous tax incentives to a group of entrepreneurs who plan to construct a full-size replica of Noah’s ark, load it with animals and actors, and make it the centerpiece of a Bible-based tourist attraction called Ark Encounter. Since Gov. Steven L. Bes-hear announced the plan on Wednesday, some constitution-al experts have raised alarms over whether government backing for an enterprise that promotes religion violates the First Amendment’s require-ment of separation of church

and state. But Mr. Beshear, a Democrat, said the arrange-ment posed no constitutional problem, and brushed off questions about his stand on creationism. “The people of Kentucky didn’t elect me governor to debate religion,” he said at a news conference. “They elected me governor to create jobs.” The theme park was con-ceived by the same Christian ministry that built the Cre-ation Museum in Petersburg, Ky., where dioramas designed to debunk evolution show humans and dinosaurs coex-

isting peacefully on an earth created by God in six days. The ministry, Answers in Gen-esis, believes that the earth is only 6,000 years old — a controversial assertion even among many Bible-believing Christians. Although the Creation Museum has been a target of ridicule by some, it has drawn 1.2 million visitors in its first three years — proving that there is a sizable paying audi-ence for entertainment rooted in a literal interpretation of the Bible.
