![Page 13: Module 1: Program Introduction](https://reader033.fdocuments.in/reader033/viewer/2022061115/5464bcd5af79596e2d8b5885/html5/thumbnails/13.jpg)
Why is Watershed Stewardship Important?
Water is the most critical component of life Watershed stewardship means taking care of
the water, air, and biodiversity in a watershed to ensure the sustainability of our water resources for generations to come.
![Page 14: Module 1: Program Introduction](https://reader033.fdocuments.in/reader033/viewer/2022061115/5464bcd5af79596e2d8b5885/html5/thumbnails/14.jpg)
If we become educated about our
watersheds and understand how our
activities affect them, we will act
more responsibly to preserve,
protect and enhance them.
