All Prism bases are constructed of Reflex Plus Foam, an ad-vanced polymer cushioning material designed to improve comfort,quality and performance. Each Prism base and insert is manu-factured with the most advanced foam technology available today.

Inserts

Triad – Constructed of Reflex Foam and designed with integratednotches to help minimize pressure on the patient’s body as thebed is raised and lowered.

Modular DesignAll components, including foam insert and cover are replaceable.

Gatching Notches Notches allow mattress to movewith bed frame for safer patientpositioning and less foam fatigue.

Antimicrobial CoverOne-piece clam-style cover istreated with butyl-neoprene coat-ing to facilitate ideal moisturevapor transmission rates. Cover isantimicrobial *Staph-CHEK® withbuilt in handles for easy transport.

HandlesBuilt-in handles allow for easytransport and evacuation.

Velcro FastenersVelcro fasteners, located on the underside of the mattress, secures mattress to frame.

Polyethylene Barrier LinerA smooth, transparent liner overthe foam insert helps to reducethe effects of shear and friction.

Energia insert is durable, flexible and offers pressure reduction – An ultra-comfortable, resilient two-layered systemof Energia Foam and Reflex Plus Foam for maximum support and pressure redistribution. Insert has a top layer of Energiafoam (3 lb. density) over our Reflex Plus foam.

Viscoelastic insert – A two-layered system of memory foam and Reflex Plus Foam for maximum support and pressureredistribution. Insert has a layer of visco foam (5 lb density) on top of a layer of Reflex Plus foam for added support.

Triad Insert – Constructed of Reflex Foam and designed with integrated notches to help minimize pressure on the patient’s body as the bed is raised and lowered.

Provides minimal pressure redistribution.
