BBCCF - Who we are

• We are a registered charity dedicated to helping local people find local solutions to local community needs in Birmingham and the Black Country.

• We are members of a national Community Foundation network , which currently has 57 Community Foundations based in the UK.

• CF’s work with Local Authorities, Government, national charities: Big Lottery and Comic Relief, Corporate, SME’s, families and individuals

BBCCF - Our Mission

Our two broad purposes are:

• To work with local donors by pooling the donations of philanthropically minded individuals and community-minded companies into an Endowment; and

• To work with the community supporting local voluntary and community activity through a programme of constructive grant making

targeting communities in need

• The desire to promote the welfare of others, which is expressed by the generous donation of money, time and talents to good causes

A definition of Corporate Social Responsibility

• A form of corporate self-regulation integrated into a business model, with a goal to embrace responsibility for the company's actions and encourage a positive impact through its activities on behalf of all its stakeholders
